Here's the important part of the stream, PPV cut out for me and you can't watch on the site after 10pm unless you have a season pass but after this they had the fish address the audience so nothing really important.

$8000 Loops back to the first trailer, beyond neptunian.
I hope the state they decide on doesn't suck ass with filming laws, as well as which insane fuck will buy the houses once they're put up.

I find it very hard to believe that they couldn't have just lawyered their way in to at least a few more weeks of the show so we could at least have some closure and a winner.

I would like to do some digging and try to figure out what they’ve been threatened with. Although if I remember, the post about the charges against the s1 house owner details that they aren’t public.

Because they like money and if they can't film the show then they don't make money
Sam's a multimillionaire via crypto, he doesn't care about this at all, as evident by how he's basically been checked out this whole season. He probably only shows up so Jet can earn some money and get off his ass for a bit.

In hopium related ideas, finally moving to a warehouse could enable an idea that is perfect for this show: Synecdoche New Tank.
Think about it, just keep building sets within sets in the same main warehouse set and house body doubles of the fish present at the time like in season 1, make it a game where the original fish have to fight to stand out from the imitators layers in.

So, what was the "major, complicated" twist they were talking here?
I just realized that one of the ad transition screens for the director cam is literally a cop car in front of the house, and this isn't new, they have been using it since the start:

Is this a foreshadowing for the "twist", or just (((pure coincidence)))

Kinda feeling like they did this on purpose, during the pre-season stream they all laughed hard about the "plot twist" to come, the season pass going from 60$ to 10$, the whole theme had this police car stuff etc, they said they would be transparent about legal stuff......but they did not, anyways, shit sucks, the contestants were good :/

I want to blame the one Redditor for this ending, but he could not solely be responsible for all of their problems. It's the result of a team of motivated and creative young men who tried to do something big with a small team, and they eventually failed. The law got them haha.

They did very well imo. 3 1/4 seasons with all their warts and I loved it!

I respect the dirtbagish resilience and persistence of the wigger crew, and I am very sad tonight.

this season could have definitely been #1 or #2 if it went to the end. especially with the twist, which likely would have been them going to each of the houses with the fallout theme. i feel like i cant even fairly compare it to the others given we only got two weeks. season 5 better not be scuffed in the fucking slightest.
Had everything went according to plan, s4 could have been really great, I think it has some very tough competition in trying to surpass s3 but it was possible. But since it didn't go as planned, I actually think Sam and Jet are making the best choice for the show. Trying to continue s4 in the circumstances the wiggers were in would have been the death rattle of the entire show. It's best to call it while they are ahead in this season and work towards making sure s5 will blow our shit out. After all, Fishtank has just gained some massive punk cred having their season shut down by the law.

It's hard to accept now, but this is the best move for s4 in the long run.

The government could put a Sandwich in jail; they could have stacked all kinds of shit on them till it was years in jail. The dream does not die, we got a few memes out of it along the way

Maybe they could have rented an RV and did a "Road Rules" style truncated ending. I don't know, I'm sorry to see it go though. I was more into this season than some of the others.

To do some positive Polly posting, I feel the need to point out how this show never creates enemies. Tay and Frank hugged it out, Sylvia being in Extreme Peace, Arye and Freddy hugging it out just now, everyone walks away feeling bigger and better. Jet is on to something by displaying genuine fucking freaks of the world and giving them a platform that isn't inherently biased towards the California nepo blondes he stated he wants to avoid. Say what you want about Fishtank, you can't deny that this is humanity at its lowest lows experiencing the highest highs as a result of just letting people go wild. There's something special about it.
