Here's an allegory. You got to the bar one night and get so wasted that you pee your pants, get in a fight, and puke everywhere. The bar kicks you out and says don't come back. A normal person would accept how stupid they were and stay away from that bar. Emily is the kind of person who would show up to the bar every day and argue about why they should be allowed back in. She would say she did all those things as a joke. She would say she wasn't the one who even did those things, even though everyone saw her. After about a year of doing this nonstop, she would find another bar and fuck that place up too.
