The gif Emily provides on Gyazo is her rapidly scrolling through the names in a drop down list. Not worth uploading.
So Samanthas name is not on the list, therefore she never existed to begin with. Meaning Emily never stole her name. Theres a problem with that, what if Sam Prater already had her name removed?
But worry not! There is a simple way to check. You see, while Emily insisted on scrolling quickly and was too retarded to check in order of last name,first name; I took it upon myself to perform this difficult task.
So it appears that once again, we can confirm that Sam Prater was indeed a real person who attended Melvindale High School. They created a new site and I would have to go back and check if that old one is still around. (Or we're looking at a revamped new look here.) Regardless, I'm inclined to believe that there was a Sam Prater in proximity to Emily and for whatever reason, Emily is fixated on her and stole her name for use online.

So following the ordering convention by First Name. I checked the HTML and jumped straight to the "Sam-" section.
A couple of Sams. Only one Samantha. It does not appear to mention Samantha Prater at all. So some sites are accurate, others are not.
