That's actually pretty unreasonable for someone as fat as her.dietary changes need to be made slowly or they don't stick. Going from all sugar to only once a week is pretty severe. Would even have sugar withdrawls, more than likely.Here's my suggestion. Have a 1 hour dedicated workout session. Try to keep the anxiety away and don't let it disrupt your workout routine. Substitute your bricks of diet and sugar drinks with reasonable amount of water. Wait 20 minutes after eating but drastically reduce your portion sizes. Pay attention to nutritional facts. Although you shouldn't take off your meds, just research if your meds have weight gain as it's side effects. You can only have 1 cheat day per week where sugar and other slightly bad things are allowed, but do not overindulge in it. That was mine and my families plan of losing weight. Best way to start is water, exercise, eat slightly less. Make it an exercise that's easy to do like a walk or swimming. She sure as shit isn't going to want to push herself.
