Because Robert Davis is ideologically driven and decided to act on the site when he got complaints from Kelli's group about it.

Instead of coming to me about it and talking about it in a rational way, he decided to yank the domain offline in the middle of the night (in 2020) and cussed me out at 3AM for putting up a mirror site so that members wouldn't freak out.

He didn't care.

He's just a blowhard idiot that thinks he could change the world because he took "le evil suicide site" offline.

Honestly, I really do hope he chokes on a dick and dies.

You know, if I had to be "seen doing something," I'd pick something other than publicly shitting myself and rolling around in it like a circus geek.
 
It would be a better use of parents' time and effort to build relationships with their children and work on communication skills. Or parenting skills. Teens and children attempt suicide when they feel isolated and unheard. I remember finding SS on reddit back in the day and finding it a relief that other people felt like me since suicide wasn't spoken about much at all. In a more functional family, you might be able to have conversations with your parents about these topics instead of going on obscure forums to get support.

Tbf there is always one 'freakout' or another happening there.

An apparent friend of a deceased member had a full melt-down just a couple of days ago and has been posting screenshots ever since.

Understandable if they are freshly grieving I suppose but they are posting 'They support murderers' etc & starting to follow a similar narrative to the others, so might be a lolcow-in-waiting; who knows. Not sure where they are from but other posts on their account talk about camping in Norway.

Not sure whether they have already been posted about (apologies if they have) but more entertaining is 'Loona' who replied to 'BlueJulian' and who is convinced that RainAndSadness & mods have been kidnapping banned members & 'disappearing' Twitter users like LeeLfc84 just because he didn't post for a while. They were going to send someone onto the forum get the 'kidnapper' mod's address so they could swat them.

The site is not perfect and it's understandable that people will have criticisms but some of the stories created about the site and users are just wild.​

So interesting enough, this popped up into my feed today with some government accountability organization claiming that OFCOM blocked SS.

Apparently, there was a block on the website for all UK visitors, but this person is claiming that the block was undone within 48 hours and this organization hailed it as an OFCOM action.

I think this only proves how incompetent our public officials are.

I've attached the report. I can confirm that SS is accessible from a UK VPN, LMAO. I do wonder why they unblocked it.
