Very delayed response to this discussion, but perhaps an interesting case.
This individual, after repeat thread-bans on SS for disparaging others, self-victimizing, doxing and guilt-tripping people who intentionally distanced themselves, has died following legally sanctioned euthanasia.
He covertly streamed his euthanasia on his mobile phone to a Discord call on Valentine's day this year. There were about 20 users present, all - bar perhaps one or two- had grievances with him and were actively mocking him. Given his history of deferring, deflecting and postponing his alleged suicide date(s), there was a justified assumption that this was another attention stunt to emotionally torment and harass his former friends.
The procedure was conducted in his apartment after a wellness check by police. Initially, in disbelief this person's case even justified euthanasia, we thought the date was set-up by his psychiatric team with the intention of committing him. However, the police left the residence after Forger demonstrated that it was legally sanctioned; the doctor who would be providing the lethal medications showed up about 6 minutes later. If anything can be said about this, it is a troubling development in the lax guidelines that surround assisted suicide in Belgium.
Though he incessantly complained of the agony bought on by his mental health, we were not privy to exactly what grounds convinced multiple psychiatrists and doctors to greenlight the death. As far as anyone who knew him / his insipid story is concerned, this is the first time anyone has successfully received euthanasia for being blocked by a woman on Discord.
Imagine being executed in your barren, state-subsidized apartment, alone, over a woman you never met, jeered at in your final moments by people who despise you.
