I've briefly heard of this guy; the fact that there are actually losers stupid and desperate enough to listen to him is cringeworthy (but then again, even nuts like Marshall Applewhite who told his followers to cut off their own balls managed to develop a cult-following).
Him and the MGTOW freakshow are just "radial 3rd wave feminism" for men - they just appeal to sad losers who do stupid things and just "blame women" instead of taking any personal responsibility for their actions or bad personal boundaries - or just had some "bad experience" and use it as an excuse to "blame/hate women" as a whole (similar to "radical" feminists like Andrea Dworkin or Valerie Solanas who were sexually abused by men as girls).
For example, one guy was an idiot who sent a few $1000 to some guy posing as a "Nigerian princess" in a spam email which told him to wire her some money and she would fly to the US and be his fuck-buddy; he then somehow used this as an excuse to "blame women").
Another guy was ugly married loser who claimed he was working "100 hours a week" (when he was working 30-35 hours at most) and that his wife kept rudely demanding that he "buy stuff" for her; instead of saying "no", negotiating better and more respectful personal boundaries or anything remotely mature, he just used it as an excuse to blame women. (Similar to women who are married/dating a guy who's an exploitive asshole, but won't ever consider leaving the relationship, stop having sex with him, or doing anything remotely self-empowered.
I also recall another idiot who used some statistic about "women doing the majority of spending/shopping" to argue that he shouldn't have to pay for anything on a date with women (the statistic was bogus, because it included joint/household expenses - not to mention the flawed logic, which would be like arguing that if men on average commit more violent crimes than women, that a guy who's legally innocent should go to jail).
I think he also argued something about marriage/long-term relationships being a bad "return on investment" (this of course, is stupid, since whether you're spending on a marriage, an Xbox one, or a Steven Universe porn subscription - what you're buying isn't supposed to be a "return on investment", it's an end in and of itself which the person gets some enjoyment out of- people who want to earn "more money" for the sake of having "more money" invest in things, such as stocks - it's completely apples to oranges as well as pure denial of common sense)

Basically, this is the crop of losers who listen to someone like Sandman - even listening to PUAs would probably be better advice, since they have at least had sex; while as far as I know Sandman is a kid barely out of his teen years who I have no reason to think has ever even had sex yet, and is just riding a short-lived bandwagon for views and subs, soon to be forgotten and replaced by some other idiot.

Not to mention that a "sex robot" isn't a "sex" robot, it's just an expensive masturbation aid - your right hand and Pornhub.com are completely free - for the price one would pay for a masturbation bot, one could easily just visit a Nevada brothel - buying one would be the equivalent of buying $1000 Air Jordan shoes for a toddler which they'll grow out of in less than a year.
So no one (unless they specifically have a "robot fetish") would ever buy one to begin with - a MGTOW loser couldn't afford one on his mom's allowance money and would have to settle for something like a Fleshlight instead; a wealthy guy who just wants "no strings attached sex" would just visit brothels or find a "sugar baby".
