"From the creators of Sausage Party"

Explains why it's not funny, but I thought they were in trouble for the poor working conditions the animators had to suffer through in the making of Sausage Party. And yet, Warner Bros. gave them another animated movie? Perhaps that's why they went to 11 on the white people hate scale, so that everyone will forget.

The fact that a platoon of animators had been forced to squander their talents on this travesty is a national crime.
It's less sad when you realize it's the same animators who did Robot Chicken and Crossing Swords.

All they needed was another company to buy out the animation studio behind Sausage Party (Nitrogen, who were bought out by Effects house Cinesite and rebranded) to get people to forget that ever happened.

Oh look, all the elves (you know, the "real" power behind a corporation) are non-white while Santa (the CEO so to speak) and the board of directors are white? As @Dr. Pasquale, this is as subtle as a fucking brick. Comparing anti-vaxxers with Holocaust denial? How edgy! And the female lead is Sarah Silverman?

I will stick with real, clever satire of the Santa Claus image like Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale, thank you very much.

Not subtle at all.

This movie looks like a generic adult raunchy comedy. Like I won’t be surprised if it turns out that Seth Rogan Santa willingly gives the position to the (((elf))) and finds a new passion for smoking weed or whatever.

But fuck this film is an abomination for reinforcing how animation can only be seen as kids stuff or raunchy humor.

Gotta replace Saint Nicholas during one of the holiest seasons in Christianity. History isn't real, tradition isn't real. They are only models, slots where we insert the improved diversity, inclusion, and equity-vetted replacements.
