There's no accounting for taste, "Serenity", get used to it. Throwing hissy fits for days because an author you don't like has won is really childish. And :autism:, too.

I don't think anyone's ever said people shouldn't be eligible for transition if they have any other mental illness. But those mental illnesses should be well-controlled and understood prior to the transition process. This is to protect the patient and the doctor.

It's no different than a doctor saying it's important for you to get your blood pressure or diabetes under control with diet or medication before you get surgery. They're not trying to be a dick or say they won't operate on diabetics or hypertensives, they're saying that if you're currently suffering from the effects of another condition, you're putting yourself at much higher risk of side effects and complications that could impact the rest of your life. There've been a fair number of individual cases in which the gender dysphoria someone was feeling was concurrent with the development of psychosis, and anti-psychotics administered to these individuals takes away the dysphoria completely. If you didn't treat the underlying psychosis and sent someone under the knife and gave them hormones, when their psychosis cleared up, they could easily be horrified at what they'd done to their body.

The people who really need "gatekeeping," though, are the Cluster B people, which probably describes at least 75% of the rat king. People with Cluster B personality disorders can and will use anything they can to give themselves an advantage over other people, and will try to use their transition as a way to control and hurt other people in their lives. The idea that someone with diagnosed clinical narcissism, for instance, should be given an "F" on their driver's license and be let into women's shelters is pretty much horrible. Studies on trans people show that around half have personality disorders, so this is something worth seriously taking into account when discussing gatekeeping standards.

Cow crossover. Pedophile defense, eh? Oh. Sean himself has a history of fraternizing with a self-declared pedophile, Nicholas 'sarah butts' Nyberg, even after Nyberg's entire sick fuck history was revealed.

It's funny because the vast majority of narcissists are not diagnosed. Especially of the covert variety (which is most NEET victimcows from incels to sjws). Narcissists cannot acknowledge that anything is wrong with them. The only way a narc might get diagnosed officially is when a fed up family member somehow manages to send him to the nuthouse. Shit has to really hit the fan in order for something like that to happen.

So god fucking knows how many of these basket cases are actual narcs, but it's definitely more than what's reflected in the stats.

Supposedly the best way to find out if someone is a narcissist is simply to ask them, since narcissists typically don't think it's a bad thing that they're narcissistic. But because they don't see it as a problem I would imagine that they're very unlikely to seek a diagnosis.

"Fatmisic" is a new word for me. I thought it was a typo but I googled it and found other results, with the first result being this piece about the intersection between "fatmisia" and "transmisia."
If these people put as much time and effort into physical activity as they do in finding new ways of saying "muh feels," there wouldn't be an obesity epidemic.

Asymptomatic Binary? Now there's a name I haven't heard in a while. I just looked at the picture and thought Striker Wolf had taken to wearing a wig.

This guy abused his wife for years before trooning out. CyanideBreathmint is his wife. I don't know if they're still together, but I've talked to CB in the past, and she's got all the signs of someone who's been seriously abused.

Why the fuck would you go to post on the same forum as your abuser about how they abused you? And especially why an RPG forum? Like forget the abuser admitting it and forget the mods of the site taking it as a personal attack against another user. There's got to be forums, tumblr blogs, or subreddits to post about that and get it off your chest that don't involve being on the same site as them, and that's even getting to the part where you should tell the police or your closest friends.

Basically, CB is pretty much as dumb and autistic as her former hubby.

I wonder what kind of satisfaction he got out of trooning out. He was a giant sexless blob of obesity before and she's a giant sexless blob of obesity after. No one has given this beast a secondary glance with any genial sincerity before or after their "change." Did they think they'd become Cara Delevnigne after taking hormones for three days? Did they think they'd get laid more?

I'm beginning to think that fat sad men think taking hormones is easier than just jogging in terms of trying to get laid.

Besides the standard troon "get out of jail free" card, I think Tragi-Chan's analysis upthread is correct. My guess is his controlling nature and fucked up ideas of what it means to be a man are what drove him to emotionally abuse his wife. Going troon allowed him to excuse his failures while continuing to be a terrible person.

His fucked up childhood does make me feel sympathy for him for a moment, but then I remember he's gotten into bed with the Rat King to avoid taking responsibility for his actions, and then I despise him again.

What's depressing about this is that she seems to have actually bought into all that bullshit about trying to live up to a masculine ideal. I mean, this goes way beyond basic chad behaviour.

That being said, I'm also getting a bit of an attention seeker vibe, so I don't think either party is telling us the whole truth.

He was doing an autistic countdown today, for net neutrality? No, for when his fat ass was going to see the new Star Wars.
