This eviction saga better happen! I'm sick of clicking on this thread and hoping that Sean will entertain us, but it is always just ebegging updates that never end. It's the most routinely disappointing thread that I follow. No offense to the posters, I get why you would want to archive the ebegging patterns and there is always the HOPE that he will transform into a great lolcow.

From what I recall, "Eskimo" is kind of like "Indian" (for Casino Indians, not 7-11 Indians). It's a word that they were given by colonizers and isn't exactly accurate, but in the modern era even in their own communities they tend to use the word because it's been pretty mainstream for the last couple centuries and their own words are likely to cause confusion. The term is technically "Inuit" (or apparently "Yupik" for some other groups known as "Eskimos") but in some contexts it causes confusion because the colonizer term is better known and it's not even used as an insulting so why not?
