I'd be tempted to go with the former and he actually believes she's a practicing muslim and not some pornstar from a liberal christian family roleplaying a fetish, but she was like the most famous pornstar in the world a few years ago and sean does nothing but watch porn

Is Sean admitting that he was a wigger? And I doubt using the "N" word when he was younger really counts as being well versed in AAVE, or as us old folks used to call it, ebonics. I can just imagine how many times white boy Sean got his ass kicked by Tyrone in Bridgeport.

The argument that he can "talk black" because he grew up around black folks but can choose the appropriate time to use it (because he's edu-muh-cated unlike those darkies) is so insulting but he's too stupid to realize it. I mean if EVERYONE talked that way in Bridgeport, wouldn't it be just a Bridgeport thing and not necessarily a black thing? Or are only white people in Bridgeport expected to speak standard English?

I would pay money to see Sean slip into AAVE around black people. When is the last time he actually interacted with a black person? Unless they've delivered his food or Amazon package, I would guess he hasn't in a long time. Do you think Sean also does the sassy black woman finger snap?

As someone who grew up in a culturally enriched neighborhood, nobody gave a shit when non-blacks used ebonics, though that could just be because it was pre-Current Year. I even had white teachers in high school who slipped into "AAVE" outside of lectures when they were shooting the shit with kids or yelling at them when there was a fight in the hallway or whatever. (It was discouraged on an officially level though, I remember a teacher who nobody liked that made anyone who said "ain't" say the proper English version before she would reply to them.) Usually the white kids who spoke in it more consistently were, unsurprisingly, white trash. Sean doesn't strike me as that specific type of white trash, even though he certainly is a flavor of it. He has an air of consistent - if you'll forgive me - white privilege that you see in all of his Vogon-poetry Twitter threads. His ass was probably sweating every time he heard a black guy say nigga.
