US Sarah McBride points out fatal flaw in Trump’s executive order: ‘He just declared everyone a woman’

United States Representative Sarah McBride has pointed out a fatal flaw in President Donald Trump’s executive orders, in particular, an anti-trans measure stating that the US recognises only two sexes.

President Trump delivered a series of executive orders after being sworn into office, one of which declared that the US government will recognise “only two genders, male and female” on government-issued identification.

More specifically, the order defines someone female as “a person belonging, at conception to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell,” whilst someone male is a “person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the small reproductive cell”.

But anyone with a background in biology will know that all human embryos follow a “female” developmental path until the activation of the SRY gene several weeks after conception, which sparks sexual differentiation.

Embryos with an XY genotype will develop biologically male traits linked to the Y chromosome at around six weeks. Before that point, human embryos only have biologically female traits linked to the X chromosome. In fact, genitalia at conception is “phenotypically female”, as the National Library of Medicine notes.

McBride, who is the first out trans congresswoman, quipped to The Independent that Trump “just declared everyone a woman from conception based on the language of the executive order”.

During his inaugural address on Monday (20 January), Trump said there were only two genders, “male and female”, adding that he will end “the government policy of trying to socially engineer race and gender into every aspect of public and private life”.

Among the other executive orders were moves to scrap diversity, equity and inclusion policies, ending birth-right citizenship (which guarantees citizenship to anyone born on US soil), withdrawing the country from the World Health Organization, and pardons for those convicted of crimes surrounding events on 6 January 2021.

This was written very well with almost no possible wiggle room. If it had said “XX or XY” then the pedantic crowd would come out of the woodwork to “educate” us on how XXY and YX and CYZYX and XXXXXX are true and honest and valid.

Exceptions do not change rules. Those can be decided on a case-by-case individual basis because of how rare they are.

"All humans start as female" is one of those things that kids are taught in school by unintelligent female teachers who think it's some sort of gotcha vis a vis sexism. Almost everyone believes it. I used to try to correct them, but it's not worth it. Them being wrong doesn't matter.
It's up there with 'science says that bees can't fly!' for stupid shit you get told in school but that stays with you as truth if you don't go out of your way to question it.

I use that when referring to unborn children in the abortion debate. Referring to a baby as a “she” is far more humanizing than an “it”. In real life, I have seen a woman get mad when her husband kept referring to her sisters new baby as an “it” when he didn’t know the sex. “It’s not an ‘it’, she is a beautiful baby girl!”

This is some reddit-atheist-tier "checkmate, this hulking unit is ackchyually a dainty lady, bigot!" Here's Tim McBride towering over his twink "husband":

And Sam Hyde's advice on entertaining disingenuous pilpul lawyering of obvious truths, instead of just calling them a slur and laughing:

Exactly. Let the left continue to lose the argument from the start with this troonery. 2024 was a referendum on this shit.

I get a distinct impression that society isn't buying into troon rules any more.
He literally looks like the polcel meme but in a wig.

Trump could accelerate this with a 120 day moratorium on the import, sale, or distribution of cross-sex hormones for any off-label use (ie outside of established, appropriate-sex treatments like menopause and precocious puberty) while RFK Jr's HHS studies their effects.

They could provide weekly updates of the horrors found in the SRS thread, and normies would get to see troons kvetch and rage as they reverted to their natural form. Delaware would get to watch Tim McBride show up to Congress with an increasingly difficult to hide 5 o'clock shadow and further receding hairline, and every government/corporate HR department that hired them would get to face their insane Golems.

My father used to ask "what's she having (had)? A boy or a child?"
Now, he'd generally only do this amongst people who knew him really well, with a cheeky grin, so the most he'd get is light admonishment, a tiny slap on the arm maybe,, with a "ah, stop the nonsense".
He'd be happy, he done his little joke, the obligatory reply had been given, no harm done.
Occasionally though, there would be nuclear levels of asshurt from some woman new in our company, at which point, all the other women struggled not to laugh, and found jobs to do in the kitchen, while all the men turned their backs to hide their smirking.
Dad would just shrug his shoulders saying "what?", until some poor lady was nominated to go calm her down and reassure her he was joking.
I miss him.

"All vertebrate embryos are inherently female. It takes the introduction of a hormone at a certain stage of development to turn them male. We simply deny them that."

"Life, uh... finds a way."

This is brilliant
