This drives me nuts. people in those chat-logs even freaked out and told him to stop posting under-aged nudes. Why in all the hell would you download archives of under-aged nudes just to be edgy? Why would you have a large portion of your personal hard drives encrypted for a joke? His personal computer was confiscated by law enforcement and he even fretted over them cracking his encrypted portions. "If law enforcement finds and breaks my encrypted partitions I'm going to jail.. lawls...

IIRC he said that that was a joke as well, and his computer was never seized.
If it is true though (and we all pretty much know it is), then there must be a police report or some record at least of this. I'm curious why no one has attempted to verify it.

Without identifying any of them, I think it can be simply disregarded as bullshit.
The fact is, the portions of the log Butts needs to address are completely radioactive and Butts will never draw attention to them.
Anyone denying the reality of this at this point is pretty much beyond help.

So I finally got around to reading Milo's articles, both the one of Sarah herself and the one about her supporters.
Holy. Shit.
I didn't think these people could get more disgusting, but I guess wonders never cease. I'm having a hard time deciding who I'm more disgusted by. On one hand, Sarah is a fucking pedophile who doesn't pay her taxes and is frantically trying to suppress any information that might incriminate her. But on the other hand, her supporters have drank so much of the Kool-Aid that they no longer care about silly things like "justice" and "morality" and "the truth," instead focusing their efforts on protecting their little clique.
My only comfort is that, judging by the numbers in the article, Dana is now 18 and thus far too old for Sarah's tastes. It's no fun when they're legal, after all.

Strangely, I'm thinking this part of Butts edgelord narrative—the "I got my shit seized" was a lie portion—might be believable. The claim by Butts that it's easily verifiably false is bullshit, though. The only reason I'm even considering it is because, based on what I know of law enforcement investigations and cybercrime—which is not inconsiderable—seizure of Butts' PC in connection with a CP investigation would not have been the end of the story. Even with a crypto'd partition; they would've also been tapping his phones and Internet connection, and have raided his servers. No "teenage edgelord," even one in his early 20s, and in particular one from the middle of last decade, is sophisticated enough to segregate his online and offline lives to the point that an investigation that proceeded to seizure of a computer would have not uncovered other servers subject to search and seizure.
This has been kind of itching at the back of my mind for awhile and why I've been asking whether anything has been discovered about that seizure.
All that said, Butts' claims that everything in the logs is edgelordery are utter shit. Posting crotchshots of his cousin—or posting crotchshots of some JB model and claiming it's his cousin—is inexcusable even within edgelord circles. Even back then CP threads on /b/ were universally reviled (except of course by CP consumers). Butts is delusional if he thinks we don't remember those days.

Nyberg is essentially lying by omission when it comes to this, by refusing to address that fact that ALICE'S PARENTS HAVE GIVEN INPUT ON MILO'S STORY and they KNOW Nyberg is a giant fucking creep. By claiming omissions and distortions, Nyberg is essentially telling her/his/their supporters "Don't listen to the evidence, because they're lying." Why bring up trans status when no one at all has fucking cared about it? That's all I fucking saw. "Trans trans gamergate lies trans" was the article Nyberg wrote, afaic, and it doesn't address shit about what has been said. Not a god damn thing.
I'm trying really hard not to get upset, because like I said above, I have seen this shit happen before, and I got caught up in defending a guilty person, because they wanted to try to squeeze all they could get out of me before I was tossed away and realized what the fuck had actually happened.

So if Butts got the all clear from the police maybe she should go ahead and hand us their report. I'm sure there's a police report if police were actually involved. I'd be a lot more convincing then some blog post about why you had to be a edgelord because you had it rough growing up. If she doesn't have it I'm sure she could get under the freedom of information act as she'll need pretty solid proof Milo is libeling her if she wants to take Breitbart to court. Something tells me we won't see it. We'll just hear alot of "Take my word for it." and a cacophony of white knights following along, because a self admitted told them it wasn't a big deal.
EDIT: I deserve the optimistic rating I should have included, that this all assumes it exists which I doubt. If you had a document from a detective that clears you of wrong doing it would have made sense to shoot that out when this all went down in the first place.
