May be a shitty thread but what do you guys usually do to archive sites that you find interesting?
The Internet Archives are really good but is open to politicization and lots of drop kiwi farms members can't be archived, ghost archives *kinda finally updating their UI. Archive.md just takes forever to load snapshots.
I personally just use wget and httrack if I really want to save something

I simply use Internet Archive as it has a more reliable record of working than, say, Ghost Archive. Never let the perfect be the enemy of the good (enough).

The Internet Archive has a dedicated section of the website used to remove content. Anybody who requests so can have an entire website removed from the archive, including everything ever saved and blocking their crawler from being able to save anything else in the future, even if someone manually puts a link in. Don't forget this. Ghost archive and the archive. two letter domain sites are much, much better for reliability. The IA is a good site for searching for non controversial material, general old shit nobody currently cares about, etc, but it's rocky for anything that anybody wants gone. As with KF being removed from their archives when it was still .net, it doesn't even need to be the webmaster who wants the archives gone.

archive.ph is the reigning champion for online archival.
ghost archive is also good. I switch between them from time to time
