SAW X - This time, it's personal.

I want to play a game. You are going to eat 50 chicken tendies and tell me from which chain they were purchased. For every incorrect answer you will be forced to listen to a tranny discord for one hour.

There will be no sauces. You will learn to appreciate the the little things in life. Or you will dilate until you die. Late. Or something. I don't know maybe shoot some 3 pointers.

Jigsaw reduced the concept at it's end to "New Jigsaw is a moral fag who was going to use traps to punish criminals who fell through the cracks of the justice system". That's like going from Scanners to Scanner Cops in terms of franchise shark jump.

Also, the entire marketing was based on the idea that John Kramer pulled the ultimate con and faked his death and fans were at that point, totally on board with the producers admitting they fucked up and bring John back and accept whatever retcon they used to do it.

Random question, but am I the only person who liked Jigsaw? Yeah, it's far from perfect and it has some massive suspension of disbelief requests, but I still enjoyed the film overall. The trap barn was fine, I liked Logan, the ginger coroner was a fucking smokeshow, and Halloran's death was cool.
The ginger coroner's fate is arguably the best ending to anyone in any of these movies. Never has to deal with the traps, actually gets along with the villain and survives with none of the gory deaths others have to deal with.

Yeah, but the other sequels honestly didn't help John out with how it made the majority of the people involved in his games were patients at his wife's clinic. I'll take the moral faggotry over everyone being connected to John in some way.

It kinda needed it, between all the absurdly hard traps and Hoffmanator just killing random people, the angle of Jiggy being a crusader had kind of been lost. This gives him the 'righteous fury from a massive hypocrite' back at least

Holy shit the ending was retarded...
The eye suction scene is a fucking dream sequence!!!!

At least I get to see Hoffman again... In a 30 second post credit scene... Fuck these films!

Edit: Amanda, John and a Mexican kid walks into the sunset at the end of the film. I wish I was making this up. I wasted time and money to see this goy slop.

Watching this today at 2pm. I'm hoping and praying for a good laugh, and so far, judging from the clips and trailers I'm seeing, I'm hoping it's more of a godsend compared to Spiral.

Just got back from seeing it. Not the best movie in the series, but still enjoyable if you're a longtime fan. Honestly enjoyed how the first act was just dedicated to John seeking treatment. Kinda gives you an idea of what he was like before he went coocoo for Cocoa Puffs. There's some lines and scenes that gave me a good chuckle. I'll admit I should have seen the twist coming and its probably one if not the weakest ending twists in the series, but it's not offensive so it won't leave a sour taste on the ending. Having Hoffman return for the mid-credits scene was nice.

Yes, having John, Amanda and the kid walk off into the sunset is cheesy schlock, but it's a sendoff moment for Tobin & Shawnee. The one Stallone did for Rambo: Last Blood didn't bother me at all with him riding off into the sunrise, neither does this one.
