Schedule I

True, but you will eventually need heavenly drugs for the final area, or you'll need to roll on your customers rejecting your product during every sale. There is no getting to heavenly with just fertilizer.
Uptown is still just premium. If/when Tyler expands the map those areas might be heavenly but currently there's no real use for heavenly beyond what I mentioned in the OP.

My late game setup for coke was splitting it between the barn and the warehouse. Growing, drying and boiling it at the barn while baking, mixing and packing it in the warehouse. It worked pretty well, apart from the buggy employees.
What mixes did you use most?

I'm at that point where I'm churning out so much product that I'm just playing with mixes now.

6-step mix

cuke->motor oil->cuke->banana->horse semen->paracetamol

You end up with a pretty expensive mix that has both anit-gravity and athletic, that also isn't miserable to keep resupplied and can be automated with only two chemists.

"Movie Games, being a publicly traded company,"
Well there you have it.
Stupid shit.
Worse, they're a Polish publicly traded company. CEO's of those have the worst elements of the post-Soviet mentality. Just look at CD Projekt making an official ESG statement so that they can pump the stock. Or how CDPR dumped the entire dev team after Witcher 3 DLC's were finished so CP2077 from that point was being developed by people who had no idea what the previous team did. Or how Badowski told the team to scrap the already finished game and redo it from scratch because he got a deal with Keanu and the deadlines weren't adjusted to account for it.

Bought this game, and already sunk some rather scary amount of hours into it. Its a very tism tickling kinda game. Its so much fun trying to maximise the operations, even when in the little apartment above Mings.

Trying to save up for the barn now, got meth and weed running pretty well so just need to get the next step.

Its very addictive this game, well worth the price.

I love this stupid game and I don't even know why because I've technically speedran to the most valuable products but I just keep fucking around in it. I think the variety and jank add a lot of fun to it. My favorite strat right now is working on exotic coke mixes myself while I have an automated barn setup churning out heavenly coke and automated premium meth production, I handle mixing while my workers churn out product. Just do sales during the day and spend the daytime getting supplies etc, pop in and run the mixers as I'm going, and every day I end up with a couple new batches of premium mixes to sell myself while I can press some bricks of the meth for my dealers to sell. I'm going to set up the docks as an automated mixing facility next and then feel like I'll have enough passive income to be ready for future updates where I'll just focus on keeping the rival gangs out of Hyland.

Don't sleep on the utility of the mixes for yourself. Granddaddy purple + energy drink + paracetamol will give you a weed mix that is pure utility it adds anti gravity, athletic and sneaky so you can smoke it when you make your nightly runs and the cops ain't catching you, you can outrun them outstealth them and just jump across buildings to evade.

It's also fun to fuck with Mr. Peter File, I try to shoot him every day and he still constantly calls me. I'm gonna try giving him the OG Kush + donut + donut mix to see if it really causes him to explode and permakills him.

Has anyone else noticed that when you give a new product to your dealers their sales seem to take a nosedive for a few days?
Lol I tried giving them bricks of heavenly cocaine and they sat on them for days barely making any profit. Gave them bricks of top tier meth mix I had been making and bam they're starting to pull in a lot of cash. Right now I have my dealers selling meth and I sell the coke which I mix into a top tier mix and sell for $900/unit, and I'm still having to up my automation to keep up with demand.

Yeah, well, fuck Drug Dealer Simulator for not coming up with a more creative name.
I feel bad for the Devs of DDS, they reached out to the S1 guy about a possible collaboration and whatnot but the publisher did their stupid investigation and nixed any chance of that unless DDS gets a new publisher.
I really wanna play this but I don't have a gaming PC :(
Same. One of the many reasons to get a PC I’m afraid. Here’s hoping that new Xbox really does have access to Steam.
I would say it's alright but it kinda have a flavor of the month vibe to it.
Yeah, it’s only been out two weeks so we’ll see how it goes.
I got bummed out when I realized the whole "rival cartel" thing is totally unimplemented
This is why the cartel stuff is really needed
That is supposedly coming.
Remember, this game is only made by one dude in the bumfuck Outback boonies in Australia.

For the most part it's now more like implementing mods into the game rather than totally rebuilding/restructuring the game to add a new feature. If anything the time he needs to do interviews/media/events and administrate a game company hitting far above it's weight are more of a time drain than the coding.

They've sort of only appeared with that offer after the game has been successful, it's like a 0% risk all profit collaboration where 1 guy would be getting a worse deal to offset the payroll of an entire team. It's also not really representative of the industry, the teams themselves are all going to be freelancers and they won't exactly pimp out the team to a 1 man studio as when they go to negotiate working on Schedule 1 rather than the contracted project(s) they just go "well I'll apply direct to them and keep your cut or quit". I suspect the guys inbox is also stacked high with CVs at the moment from every sort of dev and artist possible wanting in on the game.

That is supposedly coming.
Honestly I feel misled about the state of the game. Tons of the promotional stuff shows the use of firearms and implies the cartel stuff is already in the game. If I had known the true state of the game I would have given this at least 6 more months to cook. That's what I recommend to other people unless your friends are really into it.

I didn't even notice the cartel stuff. All I saw was making and selling drugs and was interested. Its honestly the business growth and management portion I have the most fun with.

Isn’t it only like 20 dollars?

Pirated a copy and while relatively addictive and fun it's completely unfinished. I get that it's an Early Access title but when you release a bunch of trailers to hype it up you expect a relatively complete experience. The cops are more or less useless, there's no other kind of opposition so you're just left with a completely empty world and basically doing the same thing over and over. You make product, you mix product, you sell it. It's the same for all of the drugs. At least they have different barebones minigames but by the time you're making good meth and especially coke(which I haven't even reached yet) you'll just have employees do all that for you anyway.
The highlight of the game was a junkie attacking me because she couldn't afford my drugs so I knocked her out and threw her in a dumpster. That was the one and only combat encounter I've had and took me by surprise. But why is it so rare?
This might be really fun in a year or two but I certainly wouldn't buy it now and follow it update by update.
