Off-Topic "Scientific" Studies regarding Transpeople

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Trans people are so miserable that they eliminate themselves.
And no one truly cares about why.

They've built this cult around being trans to the point where the very nature of knowing a trans person is abusive. You have to do exactly everything they want or they're going to off themselves.

Many mentally healthy people would say that they can't live like that. And even though I'm not the shining beacon of mental health, I have been in abusive relationships, and I'm at the point in my life where if someone threatened to off themselves for me not giving them what they want, I'd probably flat out tell them that the world is probably better off without them if they're going to take that attitude.

People with that level of unhealthy coping mechanisms, not to mention the idea that the world needs to see them the way they demand to be seen, even if and probably in spite of barely believing themselves, aren't good for much of anything. It's why I'm strongly repelled by anyone who is heavily pro-trans: because I'm not about to get sucked into their fucking drama.

The methods section is completely and utterly absent of methods. They show where they got their data from, and say that rates of psychiatric encounters were calculated from these data. This is a problem, because in their results, they include p values which indicate some kind of statistical test (I would assume a t-test judging from the kind of data they are using) was performed, but they do not say what.
Oh, look at you! Knowing statistics, p-values, and trying to guess where they arrived at that p-value from because p-values can be manipulated a million and one ways to arrive at the conclusion you want. I have the answer for you: those are not p-values. 'P' here is shorthand for 'proportion,' not probability. Or they are assuming probability means proportion, even worse.

Take a gander at the chart:
Regarding vaginoplasty, they cite n=869, with 193 experiencing an overall psychiatric encounter (193/869=22.2%).
Regarding Suicide Attempt, they are dividing 38/869 = 4.4%.
Overall risk before is 74/869 = 12.8%, and presented-before is 38/(74+38) = 33.9%.
I can't figure out where they're getting the 'did not present before" thing from. No matter in what convoluted way I divide these numbers, I cannot make 81/869 into 11.1.

That's it. That's all. Oh, and if you think that's a pretty big tell, well check out my next point:
It's an interesting result essentially, but needs to be verified with properly conducted studies.
It's barely a study. Here's their methodology:
All persons undergoing feminizing (vaginoplasty) and masculinizing (metoidioplasty/ phalloplasty) genital gender affirm-ing surgery were identified in California from 2012-2018 from the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development datasets using appropriate ICD-9/10 codes. All emergency room and inpatient psychiatric encounters were identified (noting those involving suicide attempts). Rates of these encounters were calculated before and after gender affirming surgery (using date of first operation if staged). On average, patients had a balanced two years of observation before and after their surgery.

This is closer to a pull of an SQL database. It probably was. The study did not have contact with individuals nor poll them - it just looked through records in a California database. Which is to say - the researchers have no idea if these psychiatric encounters have anything to do with the gaping axewounds and the rotdogs. They did not have contact with any of the people being observed here. So we have to assume that California's results are accurate, well-kept, and we can't really extrapolate anything from them because there's no... control group or proportioning or anything. They just scanned the database and shat out some numbers. There's a reason this one never went anywhere.

Also, Testosterone makes you more confident, so you are "more confident" when you decide to kill yourself, men tend to not overthink things when they make up their mind. They just *do* it. (IMO)
I've said this a few times before, but anti depressants ALSO add to this, since SSRIs basically increase the effective amount of serotonin. Seratonin is basically your "confidence" chemical. This is why suicide is such a high risk for using them. Also of note, a lot of trannies (including nex dagny benedict) was using them, and killed themselves.
Really I think its better to learn to cope with anxiety and shit than be doped up to be unphased. You SHOULDN'T be confident about horrific stupid ideas, that leads to school shootings.
High IQ - "You need to let people transition because they'll kill themselves"
if it wasn't for sheer psychosis threatening others, I'd recommend this with extremely high doses of anti depressants for trannies too....
Actually....Anti depressants...mental hospital so they can't hurt others.... Canadian suicide booths....

hmmn.....Hmmn...
Ideas.
We should crowdfund a mental hospital exclusive to transgenders, with all 3 of these services.

Since this has gotten attention, now's a good time to place bets on how long it'll take to be "debunked" or "retracted" because of some retarded, bullshit reason (or no reason at all).
My bet is 2 weeks at most.

They can just ignore the results like they ignore all other sources of reason while branding it as transphobic. Pretty much business as usual for them.

I hope this is true because killing themselves and cutting their dicks off are my two favorite things that troons do, in that order.

Unfortunately, only a tiny percentage of them get the chop:

Nearly all of them are planning on waving their dicks in the women's locker room for the entirety of their long, degenerate lives.

depending on the ages they include, many of them probably cant legally get anything done yet. some studies call you trans if you identify as nonbinary, which is easy mode special for teens.

Sorry, I've gone through the Dallas et al. abstract ( there is no complete paper, is it from a poster presentation?) and found it to be inadequate.

The authors merely compared the percentages of suicidal attempts pre-op and post-op. This is not good enough. If patients spend more time post-op than pre-op, then it is just natural that more of them attempt suicide post-op. As the study was done in California, I assume the waiting list for genital butchery should be short, and those patients might indeed have been observed for a longer period post-op than pre-op.

This might also explain why pooners have a lesser rate of suicide post-op than hons. It is a reasonable assumption that the waiting list for rotdogs is longer than that for AmHoles, so pooners might have been observed for a shorter post-op period than hons.

I can't quite understand the authors' method of quantification ("On average,
patients had a balanced two years of observation before and after surgery"). How did they ensure the "balance"? What I want to see instead is having the data presented as a time-standardized form, such as number of Suicide attempt per person-month.

Imagine not seeing the writing on the wall this much... I fear for generation Z and alpha. Highest suicide rate in human history I bet.
Who's dumber - trannies who mutilate and off themselves or the thousands of people who allowed themselves to be sacrificed by the Aztecs because they thought the sun would go out without constantly being refueled by blood?

Even when they get the right data, they are determined to draw the wrong conclusions. "Hey, people tend to kill themselves at double the rate when we give them an ax-wound to the crotch, so let's make sure to watch those patients extra close." Not, "Hey, maybe we shouldn't be hatcheting the genatalia of mentally-unstable people," just "counseled appropriately."
Nigga, you won't keep the doors to your gender clinic open with that kind of attitude.

50' boats don't pay for themselves.

Reposting this here:
New study from Finland was accepted into BMJ Mental Health Journal, and got published last month that asserts that there is no evidence that giving children hormones (and gender surgeries) actually reduces suicide rates. In fact, it found that it slightly increased chances of suicide (NYP article weirdly refuses to mention this)

It also found that all these drugs and surgeries actually just in general increased your chances to die

New York post wrote an article about this

"A major new study out of Finland found that providing cross-sex hormones and gender-transition surgeries to adolescents and young adults didn’t appear to have any significant effect on suicide deaths."

To be fair, the Aztecs actually used force of their superior army and basically kidnapped villages and soldiers to sacrifice. That shit stopped when Spaniards allied with (and promptly fucked, in the fun use of the word) the other peoples and nations and basically gave them the not insane natives the ability to commit a morally righteous genocide, thus ending the Aztec empire.

I've read an argument (by Bertrand Russell?) that had the Aztecs showed a bit mercy to their captives, they'd have discovered the error of their superstition and would have abolished the practice altogether. I argue that it is not necessary true: the Aztecs could have easily explained away the observation that the sun continued to rise despite the lack of human sacrifice. Perhaps the gods were merciful this time? But who can say about the next year?

By the same token, would-be troons can easily explain away objective evidence. Perhaps they kill themselves because they were bullied? I'll be different because my "chosen family" loves me so much. Objective evidence can only do so much changing peoples' behaviours; and the value of studies that show the futility or harm of genital butchery lies in their potential to change policies.

Modern day troons, just like the Aztecs of old, simply wanted an excuse to do evil, no matter how flimsy.

Some people have a fetish for brutally killing and ripping peoples' organs out and cannibalizing their flesh shortly afterward. Some people are autogynephiles, get off at destroying childhood innocence, have castration fetishes, or all three.

They will twist themselves into pretzels to justify their depravity. And sadly, many of them will refuse to change unless forced to do so, or unless they're subjected to capital punishment.
