Well, Volition found the original source code. They did say they would optimize the PC version in time. AND include the DLC.Now we must wait to that Saint's Row 2 Remaster to PC... someday.
That also means the rarity of such copies will diminish. But still, a game being resurrected because of copyright issues is always a good thing.Good on them. It was a shame the game got de-listed due to licensing bullshit.

Look at all the times, Simpsons Arcade, Turtles in Time. and AVP Arcade have been pulled.
Steam recently adopted a similar stipulation on their developers agreement that marketing materials are not to promote other platforms and venues, not sure if putting, say EGS or GOG on a trailer is promotion or just acknowledging the existence alongside Steam.Funny enough, the Nintendo version of the trailer actually omits every other platforms, which causes the fanboys to think this is a Switch exclusive title.

The band that did the music for the game actually did a small show in my town I was able to go see back around the time the game first came out.Holy shit, this game helped define my music taste for a decade.
