Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game Complete Edition

Having online play will be nice, I always wanted to play with a full roster of people.

So apparently a Limited Run Release may not happen because of Uplay Bullshit. Everything is still up in the air, but LRG built it's name on having all data come on the cart (they delayed Celeste for half a year until the final DLC) and Ubisoft doesn't like that idea because it may compromise the Uplay DRM supposedly.

Mind you we still have not gotten a proper HD remake of Riven despite Cyan Worlds rebuilding Real Myst Masterpiece Edition from the ground up because of Ubisoft bullshit.

RMME was made in Unity. They used original design documents(that they still own) to remake a ton of assets.

I remember wanting to play this back in HS but we never got around to it, guess I got too call up the old bros again to arrange something, hopefully it has cross play
As a side note, the movie was only good because edgar wright is a genius director, the story was just okay but he took the nerd baiting of the comic and made it a really cohesive visual style.

Uplay ruined a generation of video games, unironically. it's one of the worst of these DRM services around, the only ones more asinine and convoluted are origin and Denuvo
also good to know that might cause this whole shit to happen yet again, thanks Ubisoft.

It's nice to see a console exclusive licensed game come to pc but hasn't it been available to emulate for a while now?
Yeah, but it takes some effort to run properly.

Yuck. Shitty overrated movie gets a game.

Why not make a game of something good?
For what it's worth, it's based on the comic book, not the godawful movie. But, yeah, it's kind of annoying how an otherwise excellent game gets baked into that franchise.

Hopefully pirates crack it so when the license inevitably expires again we can have a permanent version that'll always be accessible.

I bought a used PS3 in 2016 partly because of this game. It was delisted from the PSN store, but you could still buy keys from GameStop, which I did the same day I picked up my system.

Not to power level too much, but I have incredibly fond memories of this game at different stages of my life and the soundtrack has been a constant staple in my music rotation since it came out.

Seriously, if nothing else check out the soundtrack on Spotify, because it’s honestly fantastic.

I’m glad to see the game get a second wind. If it brings in more fans for Anamanaguchi, that’s a sweet bonus as well.

Well it appears that the impossible has happened, Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: Complete Edition is getting a physical release via Limited Run Games.

The game is available as a Standard Edition...

...a Classic Edition...

...or a KO! Edition depending on how much chimp change you're willing to throw at 'em.

And if you're an Xbox user don't worry about feeling left out in the cold, LRG plans on doing a physical X1 release at a later date.

The band that did the music for the game actually did a small show in my town I was able to go see back around the time the game first came out.

The game introduced me to Anamanaguchi, who have put out incredible chiptune songs over the years.
When Zoe Quinn spread her legs for games journos they went full FUCK GAYMERS mode. Some of the licensing issues was with them being total bitches.

You guys are in for a shock when you play it. It's not a bad beat 'em up but it's grindy as a korean MMO. There's a leveling system that will make you grind to finish the arcade mode. It's fun enough but the hype is going to clash hard with the grinding nature.

I remember that you needed quite a LOT of cash for the bionic arm (dmg increase) and Kim being the only one who can selfheal by kissing Knives.
