One of Scott's more annoying schizo posting habits is calling everything a "movie" and trying to predict the future based on the Hollywood formula

I'm not talking about his "two movies on one screen" mantra, which used to be a metaphor for people interpreting the same information differently, I mean he literally thinks life itself unfolds in the story beats of a Hollywood blockbuster. Once explained as just another metaphor, he's gone full schizo and says the Creators of the Simulation divinely plot our destiny in accordance with what would make for the most entertaining movie, and therefore you can predict the future by what the most interesting outcome would be, and he's always wrong.

Scott seems to not consider "based on a true story" movies tend to drastically change the events so that real life can be pigeonholed into the movie formula.

As kiwi Ophelia said about Chris Chan's incest saga drawing out, the most entertaining movie like scenario almost never happens, just boring old reality, and others in the thread said if Chris Chan were a movie, his incest case would end up in the Supreme Court and Megan and Michael Snyder and the Greene County School Board would all bear witness against Chris Seinfeld finally style, but instead it just dragged on for two years and then got dropped, because this is real life.

Scott Adams believes real life follows movie formulas because the Creators of the Simulation watch movies.

All this while Scott himself says he can no longer watch movies and the industry is dead because he no longer has the attention span to sit still for two hours without constantly checking his phone. He's a boomer who's given himself Gen Z brainrot, all while decrying TikTok!

The movie plot thing is him saying what he'd be excited or interested in seeing happen without just outright saying he hopes it happens. It's him detaching himself from what he's hoping for in order to sound like an objective observer of the world rather than a normal person with biases and hopes and so on.

I was going to say that the movie thing was just a rhetorical device, but him chimping out over trump proof NYC is honestly pathetic.

Segregation was more important than people realized.

I saw an almost lynching while working in NYC, I was on a moving truck.
Whole way into the city, the nigger ran his mouth about what a great opportunity he was given to work with my uncle and his partner. (no homo)
many eyes were rolled. Uncle was already pissed because the city required three fucking vehicles. First, work crew couldn't ride in the truck, had to rent a van. Next, can't use the usual truck, has to be city approved. That was kind of fun, there were fights on the island and it was funny. Third we literally had to move all the shit from city truck to jersey truck.


First the nigger pretended the lift gate was broken. My uncle had me jump up onto the truck and the liftgate worked just fine. Strike one. What's worse is the city truck had to have a permit to be on the island, which did NOT cover parking, which was another fee. So a nigger gumming up the works on a truck being paid over three times meant my uncle was not pleased.

Strike two was cigarettes. The ape managed to monkey hand the packs off every worker off the truck. I don't smoke, but I also know you do NOT fuck with a lifer's pack.

Third strike was at lunch. He got caught with a pack from a worker who gave zero shits. Nigger was going to die.

My uncle told him to walk off. We were on sixth ave, clearing out an office suite, and the nigger acted like this was a surprise, like he thought he was going to get away with his ape shit.

Ape walked. Ape didn't get paid, but Ape lived.

Honestly, that was worse than any other NYC trip. Generally I just had to keep mexicans from stealing dollies, but I honestly thought that stupid fuck was going to die.

I think I've told this story before. But the point is, customers constantly tried to hire our crew because it was nigger/mexicanless.

I think there is serious money in segregation. Today. If people could pay to have their tasks handled by white employees with no diversity, I think customers would pay more.

I have an update. I've been through the archives, and found that Scott got an experimental surgery for the voice thing (spasmodic dysphonia) and that was what finally cured it. If there's some demand, I'll put up some links to the archives for that particular saga (I'm busy for the rest of this week). The reason I only remembered the previous attempt to cure it (by saying "Jack be nimble, jack be quick" to himself) was that he did claim he had cured it at one point using this method, and that was when his blog was on a different site and more popular. But obviously it didn't cure it enough if he went in for the surgery.
