I must admit, that's a tad hypocritical since you've been reacting to this thread for several weeks. But I am going to say you actually defended the article back in February, stating, and I quote: "A story about apocalyptic prolific objectification is hardly an endorsement of the practice." Under the discussion forum. People can change, but that wasn't even a month ago (22 days specifically). It's an underage girl. 13 years old. I can't imagine why you'd want to defend it in any capacity.

Edit: And while I appreciate your support, I am confused why you're suddenly saying that it's no longer okay. I disagree with you in many, many ways, but to change your opinion now that it's no longer convenient to defend AdminBright is odd, to say the least.

I am glad something is being done about problematic content in the SCP Wiki and if I didn’t see it before, then I see it now. A lot has happened to change my perspective between then and now, if you weren’t aware

Again, your comment stating that featuring an underage girl flashing her chest to the author's SCPsona was alright because it wasn't an 'endorsement of the practice.' was only 22 days ago. But I'm a hypocrite for pointing that out since I also no longer agree with how I vandalized the article even though it's only been 5 days since I did. Either or, thanks, I guess.

Edit: To clarify, RJB_R, one of PH's old accounts, also commented on the thread stating, "This story always amuses me greatly, and uses the Dr. Bright character exceptionally well." But that was 2820 days ago and irrelevant to the discussion, so I didn't bother bringing it up. The second comment made under the name 'do_the_right_thing', however, explicitly defends the article, hence why I referred to it instead.

What are you talking about? You only came here after you were banned. All those document dumps were so you could get revenge on SCP for banning you, not because you had some revaluation about your personal ethics. If SCP hadn't banned you, you'd be just fine writing on that site.

Also update on my disciplinary thread: All of the replies to it have edited their statements to state that it should be a definite permaban with no chance to appeal after 'more information' has been revealed. Great. To me it seems like they heard I posted something on Kiwi and now they're changing their minds. If that's not the case, I think they should respond to my message asking what they're talking about. If it's not malicious, then they should tell me. They could afford to be less vague.

It’s almost like they have to dance around the subject to avoid acknowledging they’re picking and choosing when to acknowledge all of the valid points being raised here and their own culpability in the Wiki’s many problems

Edit: Yeah. In response to my request for the information on why I am being banned with no chance for appeal, they have edited their responses to state that the 'additional information' is available to staff upon request.

Imagine this; staff sympathizes with a user rightfully calling out pedo behavior on their site and bans them for how they did it. Then, they change it to a perma because that user pursued less malicious efforts to share their right call. What's the reason?

This is only partially true. I regret joining the SCP community because it fucked me up in ways I'm not sure I'll be able to recover from, but at the same time I did make many actual friends that I genuinely care about, and that I still talk to outside of there. I suppose that was a different time, though. Things have darkened a lot, it seems.

There's not much else I can do about the ban beyond...complain about it here and update on Bright's article. I'll keep asking. I don't want to spam either, though. At this point, not talking about it anywhere else is just, well, stupid. If nonsense like this happens, why wouldn't I want to point it out? And if I can't point it out on the wiki, I'll do it here. They've banned me for ban evasion, now. I'm not even sure what that's about. What are they doing? What is this all for? They've built this maddening system but I don't think even they know what its purpose is. I guess they want me gone because I don't fit in the little narrative they've got set up that the entire Bright 'inconvenience' was fixed just fine when he decided to leave. Ah well. At least the article will be removed.
