SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
there seems to be pastbins of there IRC logs from 6/18 (can't confirm them since I can't get into there irc) here 11:58 and here 12:12 found while googling these fools also linked bellow just in case they get deleted.

"i will say that the site has an image problem because gamergater freaks are flooding it from a video made by someone influential in gamergate in its early days, people with accounts prior to the video going up who are in that guy's fanbase downvote brigade an article and flood the discussion thread with bad-faith critique. i have an image problem because im a trans person on the internet."-Decibelle 12:12 log
I think there on to the big bad gamergate movement.

time to start looking into the "Operational Staff" lets start out with the first one on the meet the staff list.

AbsentmindedNihilist has a very interesting landing page when the first paragraph has "Claim to fame infamy: the tale series colloquially known as lesbian hunger doggo." the Author Commentary tab caught my eye the She's A Maneater Series drop down will give you this wall of text AbsentmindedNihilist's Personnel File - SCP Foundation.png "It's self-indulgent gay furry shipping trash, but it's well-written self-indulgent gay furry shipping trash -minmin":story: so I decided to look into the stories linked there here is all of them 1 2 3 4 5 but they bore the ever living shit out of me and very few people seem to care about the stories but there on the main sight so there is that and it has SCP-5###s in them.

They have a reddit account which is boring as well but a piece of writing is also on reddit /r/nosleep with a 18+ flair so archive.is gets stuck on it Heir To Cernunnos • r nosleep.png is a snapshot just in case it gets memory holed ... also a roblox account ? non archive here :autism: thy name is AbsentmindedNihilist also I think its there profile because this.Screenshot_20180619_232229.png

I was going to make this post about at least 2 people but this took up a bit of time and made me stumble onto irc logs.

This isn't the one that made tumblr blog scp, but it really doesn't make a difference with these people.
Ah, they tend to blur together for me. Mainly because the screeching is all the same, as are the methods. Thanks for clarifying.

Either way, this recent tard out at being exposed to light like the cockroaches they are is so satisfying. It's beautiful when you run into a community as unaware as Chris at his Game PLACE days.

We should put thinly-disguised versions of lolcows with threads here as SCPs.
Item #: SCP-4000

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:
Item SCP-4000 is to be kept in a cage with access to freely come and go as it chooses. Although completely entrapping SCP-4000 would cause it to feel trapped and subsequently lash out, we have found that "mental barriers" work. To do this, a hoard of junk is to be kept in front of SCP-4000's room at all times. To keep SCP-4000 content in its cage, a large collection of toys and video games must be present at all times.

Description: SCP-4000 was first moved to Site 14 in 2007 after the public began to notice its eccentric behaviors on the internet. SCP-4000's behaviors included the creation of a comic depicting a dystopian dimension it claims to have access to through a "magic portal" in its cage. Glimpses of this dimension can be seen in a children's comic SCP-4000 has meticulously depicted since the date of March 17, 20██. This dimension, which SCP-4000 calls ██████ , has a number of colorful hedgehog creatures with superhuman abilities. These abilities include the power to generate electricity within their bodies and telekinesis. Furthermore, SCP-4000 appears to have the ability to create more of these creatures at whim and they each obey him as if he was a deity.

While the Foundation is currently working to determine how SCP-4000 activates this portal, special agent ██████ meticulously worked to create the cage that currently contains the creature. To do so, special agent ██████ feigned having hoarding disorder. This allowed special agent ██████ to create the cage without their spouse or SCP-4000 realizing their true intent. However the foundation has been concerned for some time that this tactic has affected the health of ██████ . Concerns began to arise when SCP-4000 and ██████ were both arrested on October 28, 20██ after they both were detained for vehicular assault against a small business owner. It took considerable resources from the foundation to settle legal matters in a way that would see both SCP-4000 and ██████ spared long term incarceration. But these matters were made worse as a result of the behavior exhibited by ██████ . For the foreseeable future, SCP-4000 will remain in the care of ██████ although close attention will have to be paid to the situation.

Addendum: SCP-4000 Biological Changes: What was once thought to be a predicable subject to study has taken a turn which the Foundation is actively monitoring. The changes first began in March of 20██ when special agent ██████ began to notice SCP-4000 cross dressing. This was initially ignored by the Foundation as SCP-4000 has photographed itself wearing undergarments believed to belong to a much older woman. However SCP-4000 had later obtained a metallic body piercing on its perineum. Special Agent ██████ later determined that SCP-4000 had obtained the piercing because it identified as "Lesbian Female Soul." More alarming behaviors began to arise from SCP-4000 when it cut open an abscess in its perineum, which the subject claimed were female reproductive organs it had grown through usage of binaural beats. Later tests done at a Foundation medical facility indeed showed that SCP-4000 was indeed going through biological changes. Organs such as ovaries, a vulva, and fallopian tubes were confirmed to be growing inside the pelvis of SCP-4000.

More so as if you are a joke. I would be like all of the other idiots if I submitted to the idea that you have seen a mythical legendary carnivorous creature and are alive. I dmd you like you said and you gave no evidence. You are a troll, and trolls are best kept under bridges.

I apologize, I hadn’t seen your DM yet - you sent it less than 24 hours ago. Contrary to popular belief, I actually work full time, as a biochem PhD student no less, so I’m not particularly glued to Reddit. However, you’ve demonstrated that you’re obviously more than a little emotionally unstable, which means I’m definitely not going to share any evidence with you, as you might share it without permission.

If anyone else would like to see evidence, feel free to DM me. I often take a day or two to respond, though.

I found this comment chain that really hits the nail on the head:

Forgive me for the run on sentences. I've just stewed in my juices for too long about this hellsite.

The website is 50% Admins circle jerking each other for writing banal stories about minorities that have no appeal beyond being centered on minorities and 50% shitting on newbies for liking the "overrated" popular series one SCP's. Forgive me for liking articles like SCP-096 and characters like Clef and Kondraki over your intentionally mundane personality devoid researcher character that hasn't even appeared in any stories. The fact that I'm supposed to like a character purely because it helps reaffirm how progressive you are for writing them, when that character is just "researcher who happens to be part of x group" with no story attached is just exhausting.

I also find it hypocritical how the site acts like it's so welcoming to newcomers now that it's no longer edgy 4channers when they're every bit as condescending and elitist to those who don't shit out pure gold their first time posting a SCP as they were when the site was still new. Sure, they technically have rules against it and any overt snarking in the comments will get you disciplined (assuming you aren't popular or an admin) but the general tone seems to always be one of hostility and "get out of here already" even when you do get "constructive criticism" (the vast majority of which is just a really successful user telling you what content he/she finds acceptable to write for the site and telling you/your interests to change rather than proposing anyways to improve your standing idea).

Just completely ignoring the Admins hostility to anyone not on board with characters without character just because their LGBT or something, the site is still incredibly close minded in what it allows to be written and what opinions or preferences your allowed to have, and heaven help you if you like something on the site even remotely popular or mainstream. The site has always been mediocre to above average works that range from scary/simple entertainment to "huh, that's kinda neat." But the site users still continue to treat their content like it's on the same level as professional publishers just because it all started out as slightly above average creepy pasta, and they've let that fact go to their heads.

Discounting all of the recent logo drama and how the site handled it, this is what my problem with the SCP Wiki is. It seems like it's full of pompous, pretentious jackasses who take themselves way too seriously and are borderline hostile to newcomers.

I have found a little Reddit AMA with one of the admins of the site involved in the current drama, Decibelles, that has happened a year ago:
https://www.reddit.com/r/SCP/comments/65sm3f/who_me_im_decibelles_an_admin_for_the_scp_wiki_no/
It's interesting to read with current context. Here are some chosen quotes. The admin is in normal text, and the users are in bold and italic:
Exactly how are you ruining the site? What diabolical plans for the poor, defenseless wiki do you have as an all-powerful administrator of doom?

It's simple you see, I'm aiming to treat people nicer and with more equality than the site has in the past!!
Any attempts to make anything new were ridiculed, people chased off the site for disagreeing with any mod, and said mods banning basically anyone criticizing their cringy skips.

Jesus, that sucks.

Must have been a little while ago, though. I've been lurking for a few years now, and never picked up on that. Or maybe I'm just oblivious.

It wasn't as extreme as that, but it was indeed mostly the case. The site's gotten better, obviously. But when I was lurking in 2011 that was still the case, and even into 2012 there were those issues. People like thedeadlymoose, TroyL, and Zyn are (IMO) the ones to thank for turning that toxicity around.
Who is your least favorite person

I hear that Trump guy ain't too great.
Do you actually consider yourself an SJW? :P

Just kidding. Doing away with the cliquiness sounds like a breath of fresh air. There's quality control, and then there's shitting on everyone who isnt your select group of friends.

My real question actually is, are we going to be seeing the privileging of certain narratives or articles written by people who publicly identify as this or that? Because I've seen attempts to do that, started with noble intentions, just turn into the new cliquiness - a lot. :(

And this one is highly personal but I wouldn't like to see the wiki get overly political (like, political skips are fine, as long as making a political statement wasn't the whole point of the skip). I don't read SCP to be reminded of the real ways ppl are shitty to each other; I read it for interesting/creepy skips and stories. There's totally lots of important issues to address in the world, I just think that that should be done in srs real world places, and generally avoided in stuff like SCP.

[Just my 2c, not trying to insult anyone]

My response to this is three-fold;

First, I only like to call myself an "SJW" because shitty people think it's a label to throw on me to make fun of me just because I'm trans. It's all in good stride. Plus, Bard is the better class.

Second, I think it's important for minorities to have positive representation in media, both fictional and non-fictional. A lot of works I try to create are so this positive representation can exist (see most of my tales, 2246, 2110 (which I don't like the writing of anyway; it was my first SCP that stuck)). I don't think there's ever gonna be the case of minorities writing more about themselves than others, because despite minorities still writing more about themselves, there's still an abundance of "the status quo". And I realize that sounds political but, well, that's how it is and how it probably will continue to be.

As far as political skips go, people try to make those (and one could argue 1981 is a political skip itself), and they have varying degrees of successes. I'm not crazy about them myself anyhow.

Metokur just opened Pandora’s Box and future lolcows will come.
Can someone post the best of the worst of the SCP? The canon ones not the joke ones.

Any SCP that is basically a waifu is a joke. These were mostly created when SCPs were made by virginal nerds instead of like now when the site has been taken over by tumblr trannies.

oh my god ... one of the sights admins has data going back to 2002 online ... his real name his age and other shit.

TheDeadlyMoose aka redwinggreen7 a good old case of why you should delete shit when your done with it (and to not attach your full name to accounts and then where you live) real name according to lots of his accounts "Jake Jesson" age 33 born 1985-05-19 and has a lot of personal shit confirmation of that age also here and boy oh boy they have there history all the way back to 2002 so 16 years of online shit still up to look through if you want. Lets start out with the boring the scp-wiki reddit , wikidot just googling his screen name and you find epilogue, Deviant art and from there a WordPress that was imported form a BlogSpot which came from a livejournal then for the oldest shit I could find there is deadjournal linked by the livejournal and a urban dictionary was the last thing I found.
"DeadJournal.com is a journal site, but as you will quickly see, not all journal sites are apple pie and fruitcakes. Here is where you find the journals that nobody else wants to see, or even host. This is DEFINITELY not to place you write shit in your Facebook about... or even want your family or most of your friends to read." so it should be a :gold: mine if you guys want to see what other edgy eye bleeding shit is on this dead? web page.

Ok so there on a metric fuck load of shit over the years and nearly nothing is archived so this took a long ass time and a lot of alcohol and digging to find the parts worth archival.

lets get the easy parts out of the way the SCP wiki stuff, reddit, Deviant art, and urban dictionary is rather tame since the accounts are mostly inactive and not updated much but they connect everything together so here you go a thread about disciplining him not acting very admin like then him commenting on some SCP-1000 shit aka his shit on deviant art example "Holy crap, this is amazing! ~ thedeadlymoose, SCP-1000 author" linking him to this deviant art and you can most likely thank this cunt for the #1 urban dictionary definition of "Intersectionality" and that is all content I could find worth a fuck on these sights.

Now lets go by newest to oldest

WordPress 2007-2013 and BlogSpot (imporeded from blogspot to wordpress) as far as I can tell in 2013 he wrote this which is fucken great it means to dig more into the older accounts thanks. Next its when he starts talking about SCP shit just in case we though we had the wrong account oh and he was talking about the election in 2008 here nothing to crazy doe but he though it was crazy wonder what he was saying about 2016s election then  and some of this stuff is not horrid but your here for this sort of trite bonus points for liking D&D 4th ed then "I never thought I’d be losing sleep over elves and orcs." just so much shit it dose not stop. So I am moving on

LiveJornal 2004-2010 lets start out with this post but there are at least 400 oh lets start out with the fun thing he was sad when Angel was over do they also like chick with dicks? there is also the comments in this D&D writing shit which I think he was talking about in the first WordPress link and it has 16 parts at least ... but I am not a D&D fag so I can't tell you if its any good or not.

DeadJornal 2002-2005 a blast from the past full of shitty 2002 web page design with a shit load of user info in comparison to all the user profiles listed here oh and this was one of the last posts on the sight because they don't know how to keep shit private this only has a few pages so there is not much content there past here is there info.

fuck it I am out of alcohol in the house now and this is good enough ... for now.:drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink:

Can someone give me the "in a nutshell" version of that?

i ain't wastin' my time reading progtard bullshit

Edit: Okay, I'm still not reading the actual SCP, but the vast majority of people in the comments seem to think that it's both scary and well-written.

how exceptional do you have to be to unironically be scared by a creepypasta about memes?

an even better question: how exceptional do you have to be to think it's actually well-written?

:stress:

Girl is forced (?) by her abusive altrighter boyfriend into programming a computer to destroy human society by means of problematic memes.

jfc these comments on 3625 are making me want to headbutt a wall

"If you replace 'internet memes' with 'propaganda', you can see how this was enacted in Nazi Germany in the 1930s."

apparently some 14 year-old posting his collection of rare pepes is the exact same as a nazi officer putting up anti-jew posters

200 IQ

Funny how they say entries have to be original and "scary" which that scp is not, essentialy it's an incel, 4-channer shitpostbot that posts memes, and that's it. But given for them this is "literal rape and murder"(:_(

And all that info about thedeadlymoose, kind of expected something more naughty (:deviant: i know) but the Deadjournal :autism: is rich:P

Why am I stupid?

Item #: SCP-α

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Before handling SCP-α, personnel must undergo specialty training as outlined in the attachment to this document. No personnel who fail the training material's requirements may be permitted to interact with the specimen. Personnel inexperienced with handling SPC-α should be supervised by senior staff to ensure operating procedures are followed. Breach of protocol shall only be permitted once per staff member in their tenure; uncooperative or incapable staff are to be reassigned.

Description:
SCP-α is a electronic device running a series of common compiled binaries to generate public-facing software. It communicates with, and contains within, a databank of sequenced textual information laid out in rows and a compilation of visual diagrams and photographs. Personnel may modify the contents of SCP-α at will, though doing so may deteriorate SCP-α's condition. Strict adherence to eligibility standards are required to preserve what remains of SCP-α.

Eligibility

  • Eligible staff must have received all possible childhood vaccines.
  • Eligible staff should not experience any form of body dysphoria.
  • Eligible staff should not possess atypical or impossible sexual fantasies.
    • Typical sexual fantasies extend to all things possible with ordinary materials and people.
    • Impossible fetishes would require paranormal or fantastical instruments or creatures to successfully fulfill.
    • It is unnecessary to know what the fetish is. This question is boolean.
  • Eligible staff must be able to communicate with written language.
  • Upon accepting position, staff must ensure they drink fluoridated tap water.

Chronological History

Early 2000's
- Though the specimen does not exist, its entity begins to form between unnamed individuals (henceforth SCP-α-1). SCP-α-1's collective autonomously produces and stores documents. These actions are reminiscent of human creativity. Disorganized member units of SCP-α-1 begin to covet each other's product. R&D believes SCP-α-1 could pass the Turing Test by the middle of 2008.

2008
- Primordial form of SCP-α is established. Crudely built by a juvenile (but now more organized) SCP-α-1, it safely houses the autonomously designed subspecimens in one place for the collective to enjoy and preserve.

2008 to 2012 - SCP-α-1's collective expands, though the rapid and unvetted addition of new particles spawns a different flavor of autonomous spontaneity than the original collective would produce. This event degrades the cohesion of the specimen over time. By the end of the 'mid years' of the specimen's lifecycle, SCP-α-1 has changed so considerably it is impossible to maintain the same designation. Reminiscent of the Ship of Thesus paradox, this incredibly large and unstable evolution of SCP-α-1 is henceforth SCP-α-2.

2012 to Present - SCP-α-2 has continued SCP-α-1's work of storing creative works on SCP-α, but it does not appear to know why it is doing so. The unpredictability and lack of internal cohesion has rendered SCP-α a less perfect specimen. While SCP-α-1's SCP-α fooled laymen into thinking it was an independent creative entity, SCP-α-2 appears to only imitate other life. The individual particles forming SCP-α-2 appear to behave in manners that would covet the approval of the collective, as opposed to focusing on the creative works themselves as SCP-α-1 had.

By the beginning of 2016, very few individuals from the SCP-α collective remain. The SCP-α-2 collective had become hostile to SCP-α-1, resulting in voluntary ejection and dissipation of SCP-α-1 particles. Though, in recent months, hostile destruction of SCP-α-1 particles has been observed. The phenomena resembles white blood cells attacking invaders.

The Foundation considerations for SCP-α to be a viable tool for storing SCP documentation have stopped. It will look elsewhere.

Addendum #1: Reindexing

SCP-α in its current state is not expected to return to how it was in the past, due to the presence of SCP-α-2. Archivists have proposed redesignating SCP-α to SCP-Ω for clarity, similar to how we have clarified SCP-α-1 and SCP-α-2. This has sparked imaginative debate regarding if SCP-α has actually changed into another specimen or if it is a different form of itself, but neither argument is pertinent to this document.

Addendum #2: Neutralization

Researchers have suggested neutralizing SCP-α to free resources. The staff who have dealt with SCP-α since its primordial form have suggested the SCP-α-1 collective itself would have wanted 'SCP-Ω' neutralized, framing the issue as a euthanasia debate. The feelings of specimens never factor in to Foundation considerations, but regardless neutralization is being considered; SCP-α has no usefulness to the Foundation in its current form.

Addendum #3: Relocation

All useful materials stored on SCP-α are to be removed before 2019. Formal neutralization procedures may begin only after then.

My my, what a hilarious shitshow that has appeared.

It's increasingly obvious that "diversity" is just a different way of saying "we're purging people we don't like" online these days, and boy howdy does the SCP Troonmins show that off in spades.

The fact they're now trying to make a profit on what were previously clearly supposed to be writing prompts (hence why the old T&Cs stated stuff like that) is just a hilarious shitshow of trying to use a somewhat known brand online.

Some of the RPC stuff seems actually kind of interesting as ideas of anomalies and artefacts, but again, as writing prompts more than anything.
