This scp is mix of insufferable self-righteousness, retarded political opinions, bad style and too much text. All it is missing is power creep for sake of power creep

Old scp: Basic yet cool premise of Thing/being that has weird properties and may be dangerous if left unchecked. Extremely by the books government organization types keep convicts on hand to test properties of said objects or provide menial labor like cleaning the poop 173 smears all over the floor and walls when needed. All of the shit feasibly believable enough to be in the same universe as the other items more or less and you can easily suspend disbelief when faced with shit like a talking alligator with regenerative properties,milk that's not milk but a weird virus/parasite that makes people eventually grow a massive gross ass torso udder that leaks the shit if it isn't drained from them, or a mask that seeps acid and is also sentient and possibly a demon. It helps that some of the objects of the early scp are literally just basic ass objects, sometimes just confiscated shit made by shady ass companies the agency is trying to do investigations into. builds the world and fleshes it out.

New Scp: Censors/alters old content, hates it's past, probably because it knows it can never amount to it. Shitloads more articles with dumb overpowered shit, jannies frame series 1 as being stupid overpowered shit compared to their shit. SOme good but it's buried under the sea of hellish circlejerk drunk on current year resetera level political derengement.
When you bring up the sad state of SCP to the current people running it last time I checked the respons is usually pretty much shit like
"UHHHHH CANON DOESNT MATTER!! IT'S NOT A SHARED UNIVERSE WHAT AR EYOU TALKING ABOUT? THAT WAS NEVER A THING?! TRANS RIGHTS TRANS RIGHTS!" (grooms minors off camera)
though that's an over-simplification and stupid playing up of it it's already been pretty much showcased in this thread time and time again. God, it's been several years now since all this started going down and it shows no signs of stopping.

Sucks too because I still see cool/interesting shit based on SCP stuff like that funny ikea survival game.

Honestly that's not even hyperbole. I can't find anything interesting in the newest series. Up until now there were at least diamonds in the rough but now it's all either boring poorly disguised novels, badly recycled ideas done better in older articles, or thinly veiled cold political takes like "class divide bad."

682 worked because it was literally just a fucking big gator with regenerative properties and human level intelligence they found after it fucking ate 2 hicks that were harassing it, and then they proceeded to contain it and do unending experiments on it like dumping it in an acid tank and keeping it there. Like yeah no shit you take an apex predator with anomalous attributes that's pissed off to begin with and then your dumb three letter agency ass then gives it all the more reason to fucking hate people. What's always been weird with that one to me is how all the art people do of it bases the appearance on the decayed whale corpse photo that's supposed to be the thing in extremely rough shape before it regains it's normal gator appearance but frames that as like it's normal appearance. I know it's not as "recognizable" or whatever but I'd rather have actual big lizard for the big lizard instead of some weird horse/sparkledog hybrid looking thing that's blatantly non-reptile. Only real times I've seen it depicted as described is in shitposts about it, and in one weird freeware game I saw one time years ago, and in that game they like gave it a fuckload of extra eyeballs.

The log explaining the nature of 3008 is honestly great. There are some bits of the 3000s that are good, just hard to find. I forget but there was one about drawings and stuff.

This was painful to read. This barely counts as an SCP, there's no anomaly. How did this even get approved? I know I shat on the Pepe SCP hard, but at least that could be considered a cognitohazard. But this? This is just a bunch of catty teenave girls having a slapfight on the internet. And I guess it turns the walls of their rooms pink?

VLAM is some retarded Kaktus-led (?) initiative to replace the nonsensical and often misused (but easy to understand) Safe-Euclid-Keter-Thaumiel classification scheme with an equally nonsensical and misused scheme that is, on top of that, completely inscrutable.

Unironically, RPC has the best classification scheme.

Such a waste of internet space and man hours. and because of course, as if it couldn't get any faggier their community has been festooned with trannies, furries, and Recreational Victims for years now. I think I read one or two of the stories years and years ago when I first learned about the site but no sooner had i got there than did i feel suffocated under the red flags. no antivirals exist for this badly of a pozzed community

Yet the author's page has no mention of a trans identity; she only states that she's a lesbian, "very girly", and "very supportive of the trans community":
