I think I might have stated it before but Gamers Against Weed has fallen off a fucking cliff. It keeps being written as a malicious force to some degree and it just doesn’t work. Peak GAW is when they are portrayed as a bunch of bored reality benders. Nerfing Gun is the poster child of good GAW as it is something a member made because he thought it would be funny that he then lazily forgot about. He is horrified to hear they used it on people because unlike the foundation GAW is made of people with relatively ordinary moral perspectives which is a unique thing in SCP. The portal fridge with infinite sprite is another play on normal people with magic but rather than contrast them with the foundation it contrast them with the grimness and lethality of the SCP universe itself. What I’m trying to lay out here is that GAW works best as a contrast to the dark parts of SCP. Unfortunately everyone just writes it as a autistic Illuminati now.
