SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Interestingly, kinchtheknifeblade, aka the author of the trans satellite exceptional article joined the RPC Authority today, it should be noted the application process involves Mods reviewing said application. Looks like there may be a rainbow RPC logo next year. Also, djkaktus has joined the Discord server. It's only a matter of time. We should also put the RPC Authority on the thread title.:story:

These two are not the only SCP active people that are in the site, but they were of the ones involved in the controversy that resulted in the creation of RPC and now are joining it? This promises some good salt in a not so distant future.

So there's a new writing contest that I guess just came to an end. It's called the "Cliche' Contest," but comes off as more of the typical shitting on all of the old stuff that made the site popular back in the day.

You know, the shit they're aping popularity from.

http://www.scp-wiki.net/cliche-con-2019

These fucks are so far up their own asses they could give themselves a prostate exam if they weren't so dickless.

Tbh at this point we can only expect further content from them around June.

On the RPC side of things however Gloop who was of their admins abandoned the ship dramatically (third time since the site began btw it just seems his way of fixing things), Kinch stopped going in, kaktus just lurks and a flood of SCP Declassified kids have been going in.

Moenennbys, controversial user from SCP had some fallouts there which resulted in a perma, to be appealed in december. And has since left to Wayward, another splinter site to peddle his writings.

Mmm let's see what else, oh yeah Enkrum(Expletive) some sod with mod powers who is letting his shit go up his head is apparently mad at some theoretically alt accounts shitting on his mediocre politically tinged articles. And Zucc, the Discord admin is causing some shit stirring over calling another user a pedo in an entirely separate shitposting server.

The content from them is kind of lukewarm these days.

Edit: so the theorized accounts were "proven" downvote/upvote brigaders based solely on the research three staff members (Enkrum, Sinaticus and some other unimportant sped did) interestingly these three staff members were salty about downvotes on their articles and banned these users without airing out the process even though they are self proclaimed transparent staff members.

Also, their irrefutable proof is that three of the accused accounts deleted themselves. Lmao these mongs never thought it was because they had only joined the Authority.

Scp-3333: A sunwatch house that’s attic door leads to a trapdoor in the floor of a nearly identical building.

Creep factor is pretty damn good although the writing does lose a bit of speed towards the end.

I was kind of disagreeing with you there, as I find the ending with the body-snatcher fooling the foundation a pretty solid ending. It's one of my favorite 3000+ Scp article

What I didn't realized is that the Scp-3333 that I read was the old version, before djkaktus changed it

Guy from the discord here. Can confirm that Kaktus at least is there, but honestly I don't see him talk much. As for the knife blade, she's not on the discord that I see at all- so even if she did try to mess with things again there's a pretty big chance anything she'd do would be shot down, and since the site doesn't allow posting articles without feedback like SCP did, it would have to go through heavy criticism and revision. At the very least, there's people still trying to make the site just about writing. I don't think I could stand losing another body of work!

So what was changed for the worst? Because at this point I can't expect anything good given the current writer base.

I suggest you read it yourself but here's a quick rundown:

The good:

-They got the voice actor from Containment Breach to do audio logs for the article. He does the best with what he's been given. The interviews themselves are hit-or-miss, mostly depending on how much the doctor is leaning into the "confused hobo" characterization.

-They replaced the profile image with something a bit snazzier, which is also copyright friendly.

The Bad:

-His abilities have been nerfed incredibly to the point where he's extremely easily contained and comes off as rather pathetic.

-Kaktus tried to give him a "personality" rather than leaving him as the nearly-robotic murderer that he was before. Not awful in theory, though I myself liked thinking of the doctor as more a force of nature or an animal than anything with real intelligence. Kaktus just thinks its edginess for the sake of edginess, but I digress. Like i said before, rather than coming off as a deeper character he just sort of acts like a confused hobo who thinks he's a doctor.

-As per usual for current SCP articles, Kaktus forcibly attached a narrative rather than just leaving it as a descriptive dossier. The doctor strikes up a friendship with a researcher and then (spoiler alert) kills and reanimates him. This is mostly seen through the audio logs.

-There's a pointed-stick joke.

I decided to take another quick look and made a few edits to this post, but generally my opinion remains the same. It could be much worse given that this is DJ "I hate classic SCP" Kaktus we're talking about, and the original article certainly needed to be touched up, but the remake is just a disappointment.

Right, that's what I hate about it now. It was supposed to remind you of the inorexable crawl of the plague across Europe in my opinion as well and making it Shadow the Hedgehog just doesn't sit right with me.

They should really lock the classic-era SCPs anyway. They should be completely off-limits, not manhandled by these fucking troons and smelly, dumb, newfag scum.
Is there a classic SCP archive that people have saved them too?
