SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Eh, I give it a soft pass because it's Gamers Against Weed, which is basically a bunch of goons and troons shitting up the internet, but this time with magic.

Yeah, I like the Gamer stories because they're decent but I think the last decade has just caused me to disregard anything that isn't science when it comes to troons. Like, I see the word trans now and my brain decides to stop processing it because 99.9% it's some dude mad that no one thinks he's a pretty princess or whining that straight people and lesbians don't fuck them and that's what caused the Holocoaster.

What reality do you live in that a bunch of straight men would want to rape a troon. It's not like raping a lesbian to "make her straight" which would've made sense somewhat but still ruins the story regardless. I'm honestly supposed to believe that a group of straight men who are not in prison all decided today was the day to fuck another man in the ass.
Troons are fetishists that get off on imagining being raped.

Sounds like a personal problem if you can't read anything that has the word "trans" in it without freezing up.

Gamers against Weed is basically what 14 year old boys think Anonymous is, but if it were taken over by loathsome, parasitic twittards and remade in their own image. If having the corporations and media prop your activism up wasn't enough, you have to ham-fistedly hijack the behaviours and attitude of the online communities that want to provoke mayhem and have absolutely nothing to do with your sanctimonious ass.

Unfathomable narcissism and vanity combined with a persecution complex. "I'm so perfect, so beautiful and magnificent that everyone I despise wants to rape me!"

I wouldn't call it freezing up, it's more just not giving a shit about anything they have to say anymore. There's only so many times I can deal with mentally ill people and their delusions before I just filter the whole thing. Yes, I know they aren't all like that as I've known a few personally, but that's what happens when you let the craziest parts of a group represent you publicly.

Gamers Against Weed is basically a much, much shittier Are We Cool Yet?

On a semi-related note, I've been enjoying the Three Moons Initiative

I haven't seen that one yet, but I'm going to read it now. I love the whole Foundation undertaking the construction of an safe afterlife for everyone thing but I can't recall the number right now.

Re-reading the SCP-001 proposals has made me stop and think about what we look for in SCPs. The djkaktus proposal is rather heavy on stuff like letter excerpts or interviews, and delivers much of its impact through dramatic, flowery writing. I'm not saying that's bad, but my preferences lie otherwise.

SCPs are best when the desired effect is achieved through a combination of soulless, bureaucratic descriptions, dry reports of disturbing events and maybe a tale of some agents getting in over their heads, told in their own, blunt and direct language. When letters, interviews, memoirs and such come into play, things invariably get dramatic and solemn, and majestic prose is simply not what I expect on this site. It almost feels like the author is subverting the overall idea and using the SCP format as an excuse for literary exercise. Anyone else share this preference?

Fuck cops, amirite! I think the reason why some feminists love the idea of a mythical creature that lures men to their doom while remaining completely free from accountability is that it frames all straight men as knuckle-dragging neanderthals without conscience or critical thinking. "They deserve whatever's coming to them, because they gave in to their instincts!" as some sort of poignant allegory for men being punished, through vigilante justice, for committing sex crimes.
Seemed more about cops than about men. Still the comment section is appalling. Even Kaktus is offput by the article. Still pussed out and upvoted it for "being disturbing" though.

I was thinking of saying something about the creepy shit Cy has been saying on Tumblr, but I kinda want to talk about something that's been bothering me about how SCP staff cover up serious offenses in their immediate community.

A while back, a pedophile who frequented SCP IRC chats, including several NSFW and roleplay ones, got banned. He was caught doing a lot of creepy shit to younger girls in the SCP fandom, including minors. Now, to my knowledge, a lot of people know what he did, so he probably has no hope of making a return. But here's the issue: he never got an actual disciplinary thread, despite being a longtime member of the community and a writer. The only hint of him being banned is buried in the chat ban page where the reason given is so vague that it could mean a lot of different things. And I do somewhat understand why they do this: I imagine that they want to maintain their image and discourage people from reaching out to the victims. But for fuck's sake, would it kill you to say that a guy got banned for being a predator? Especially when none of his pages got deleted, and newbies regularly get 15-post-long threads for giving bad critique? What a great way to give legitimate child predators a means to cover up their actions.

Well, don't leave us hanging. What was the pedo's name?

Glad you asked. He went by Sax/SAXiao/Sad Xiao and was a mid-20s Canadian engineer who typed all his messages like he was writing edgy poetry or roleplaying like a facebook stalker. I’m pretty sure he wiped all his SCP-related accounts, thankfully, but his name is still attached to countless pages and posts.

I knew someone like that a while back. This guy was a constant melodramatic shit. He was also a pedophile (ephebophile but I'm not splitting hairs over it.) Almost seems like there's a correlation.

Yeah, nevermind, looks like I'm back to the main perpetrator. Congrats to the admins of this major SCP server of over 1,000 members for knowingly letting an abuser become a moderator. Sometimes the SCP fandom really can be its own worst enemy, huh?

Oh good idea, move all the pedo behavior to a Discord where it can more easily be concealed. What could possibly go wrong?

I don't think Cyan is a pedo, but it's a terrible idea either way, seeing as he meets all his partners online. This is either being done out of spite or incompetency. Never put power in the hands of someone who has proven time and time again that he can't be trusted with it.

To be totally honest, I'm kinda surprised that the SCP Wiki didn't get into a lawsuit earlier given the sheer number of legitimately frightening people that the community attracts. A part of me feels like they've come close.
