You must not have been around for the LOLfoundation days, where SCP was a fucking sitcom starring the popular author's mary sue self-insert researchers. Watch the Down the Rabbit Hole video on SCP if you want a rundown of the early days of the SCP wiki and the drama that came along with it.

I don't really know much about it other than when the games were a fad, but it seems to get discussed a lot these days as some "why we need to protect our nerd boy things" case. I'll definitely check out the video, the drama interests me more than articles about little girls pregnant with demon spawn or whatever.

Much like winning in gambling is a dopamine rush, the tiniest thing like an upvote on an SCP article can be like a drug hit, psychologically, because it means you did good and people like something you made to your monkey brain. Exactly, hence why the development of upvote leaderboards on SCP was such a big mistake. It made the number obsession a much bigger problem.

Here’s some of the screenshots I’ve got together so far of the Yurt, the secret staff chat. Rounderhouse has been projecting “Yurt” as part of his brand and the apparent goal was to muddy the waters around his server and give cover to reference the Yurt in public.

#fuck is the channel where MAST was planned, we redesigned SCPD and ousted the old staff in what we described as a “slow coup”, we plotted how we would remake the appearance of the site and redesign 05 command, projects we ported to MAST. Literally, MAST was designed to be the vehicle through which the Yurt could take over staff.

Kaktus and Woed are the ones who made it political and I was the one who pushed for action to be taken under the tragically mistaken impression that duplicitous corruption could serve the greater good.

Kaktus has had access to either direct logs or executive summaries of everything that has been going on for staff for years, other than AH they have no secrets from him. He is the shadow administrator.

They took over the SCP Staff in 2020 almost completely, almost all the active major users on staff and many more elsewhere are complicit:

I was one of the architects of this organization which essentially boils down to a shadow staff operating outside the rules to get as much power as possible. I hope this dislodges it from power. I can answer any questions or provide details on it.

The screenshots sent so far aren't really proof of the claim Roget/Harmony is making, but I can at least confirm that all the people listed there are in a large clique, with Kaktus in the middle. I've heard it called the Inner Circle, which Kaktus talks about like it's some sort of group chat in those IRC snippets @ToS posted a while back. I won't be surprised at all if this is completely real.

Caro refused to share the information and was hostile when I brought it up after she gained power, but I did get an account in there after an AMA I did drunk and I got screencaps of public channels from there.

I would have loved to fuck with RPC and at the time I found it extremely upsetting that Caro re-United the squabbling breakaway factions and consolidated it in a way CFO never would have been able to. By trying to smash RPC when it was weak my actions are probably a large part of the reason it was able to stick aroun to this day.

To the RPC Authority, you’re goons and scoundrels but you’ve always had a point and we all know it, and that’s why we kept trying to make you go away rather than address it.

I’m sorry I had any part in that, that we never even contemplated listening to you because we didn’t like the form of your ideas and the vitriol of your reaction.

As fantastical as it might be to pretend it wasn't a thing, there were absolutely predators on staff celled up. I don't personally think it was a grooming machine, but they definitely had some awareness and did nothing. Bright wasn't the only one who I interacted with, and frankly, wasn't even the worst. Another member of staff regularly pressured me(And from what I've heard, he did this to others too) into trying to get me to come and "visit" him because we were only a few hours away.

It wasn't either of them. I actually don't clearly remember anything about someone named MisterFlames. It was someone named Salvagebar, he ended up vanishing later on though. I'm not entirely sure why and would rather not make wild speculations on it.

Harmony has also posted a dump of screenshots that allegedly came from The Yurt and other group chats that contained a bunch of staff members. People who are familiar with the SCP community will probably be able to figure out what they all mean/reference, if anything:

I have found most of my screenshots are things going into the Yurt because I was the information-gathering apparatus so my goal is to include all of them organized in sections with captions as to why djkaktus and the rest of the Yurt wanted to see them.

here’s a taste, though- this is from when we were taking down Metaphysician, which was basically a groupthink decision where we convinced each other that any kind of use of anything could be plagiarism and Caro helped do analysis of the texts supposedly “copied” from ancient sources. After seeing the “dump”, I think that’s an apt description of what it is and the only thing inner circle about this is the ring such a thing leaves behind in the toilet.

There are only a few conclusions or confirmations to take, nothing is news to us:

• SCP staff is engaged in mass surveillance in places of interest in order to anticipate or react to drama and/or damage to their reputation
• with as many views as the screenshots have in a relatively small amount of time (~30 as of now), it is assured that several bad actors at SCP are watching anxiously, sweating bullets and probably losing sleep to the encroaching comeuppins of the slow punch
• The reminder that Zyn is and always will be the patron saint of SCP, the one staffer who has 0% chance of being corrupted
• Rogrette has a small penis
• SCP-5011 is an absolute garbage article
• Scat Tron/CommunismWillWin is a sad dude
• Rogrette is climaxing to all the disappointment here, probably just being a giant tease. Does she have some shit? Absolutely. But I guarantee it won’t be anything we haven’t already sniffed out in gist. Not revelation, just more detailed.

Keep in mind that the containment thread where the screenshots were posted is being viewed by both people who are invested in the happenings on the wiki and people who are just there to laugh at Roget/Harmony, so anything posted there will probably see higher views because of that.

It’s really funny but also very say that you’re rejecting a truth without a smoking gun just because it’s hard to see an easy fit in the fragments. I am not going anywhere because until y’all take me seriously you’re just wasting your own time as much as you think I am now.

Just because the Yurt has blood on its hands does not mean ss aren’t just as complicit and guilty even if the latter is only just now learning of the former.

Why was it easy to believe in a phantom pedostaff but when a ringleader of a real conspiracy confesses in detail, that’s just too unbelievable? Do you believe that the ss are corrupt or not? This is the corruption!

Prove me wrong, if you are so sure the Yurt cannot exist. Tell me how it is disproven or unbelievable. Then maybe I can figure out an anecdote or some puzzle piece that can help you see the whole pictures because once you see that what I say is true we can do something about it.
