Honestly, for anyone in this thread who might be considering adding to RCP, strongly consider just writing your own independent work and not tying it to a giant community project like RPC or SCP. Collaborative fiction always, always gets pozzed even if the original creators weren't tards because the second the authoritative grip loosens all the retards come in and fuck everything up. It's not hard to write a novella, or maintain your own little SCP offshoot or ARG/"kayfabe fiction" (for lack of a better term) or whatever else, in fact it's quite easy and fun. Will it potentially get super famous? Probably not, but neither do most SCPs, and you might find a new hobby you like by doing it. You can also always try sending it to some podcasters like the Creepcast guys or someone else if you really want to try marketing it.

With all that being said anything that btfos the SCP troons is funny in my book. Those fags were lolcow-tier a decade ago and only got worse from there.

Volgun clearly made this because RPC was still very new and wanted to give support a new project. You can tell because this thread and Volgun's fan art was made on June 2018, the same month that RPC Authority was created due to SCP's Pride Month shilling. Volgun does not mention anywhere about Pride Month or anything of the sort.

I doubt Volgun at that time had any real idea about why the RPC was formed.

This reminds me of Redot, the fork to Godot (the game engine). Godot had some issue about a mod being a troon and doing troon things and the creator not giving a fuck, and a bunch of people got together to make a fork, called Redot.
Now, a couple of years later and nothing changed, no one remembers Redot exists. I was there in the discord in the beginning and all they cared about was designing their new anime mascot, so it didnt have troons but it certainly attracted the neets that don't do shit. Very few people were actually contributing code, and the project just crumbled within literal weeks.

I think the reason why is mainly because the RPC community was created in June 2018 (Doing a quick search) in response to the SCP LGBT controversy, and this community as far as I'm aware is doing fine.

I think the reason why Redot failed is because they're doing shit that wasn't huge that would kill godot. They focused on as you said "new anime mascot" instead of actually focusing on creating a huge update on the forked engine.

I think if the RPC Community creates something iconic they could probably replace the SCP Community. They just need to be creative.

I promise you, this tranny probably got into SCP after 2020. I've been in this clusterfuck of a fandom for over a decade, the quality has gone down by several orders of magnitude due to moralfagging. Also, all of the "Doctor" and "Agent" characters are such obvious self inserts and the fact that the fandom even so much as tolerated Dr. Bright for as long as they did makes me so mati. These people do not understand the SCP fandom and they never will because they decide to ignore its roots being from fucking 4chan.

There are actually some really good scp stories but they're the exception and not the rule. A lot of them are just really fucking lame.

The good ones are usually very good however. The core concept of a shadowy organization using science to try and contain fucked up and scary shit from the wider world is a strong and simple one. Also the semi standardized format of database entries is pretty cool. The problems are all community and standards based and not the core concept itself.

There used to be a strong separation between joke scps and the serious stuff but they're all silly garbage now. It's all just faggots writing their gang of anarchy catgirl antifascist rebels and if you tell them that's retarded they try the "you obviously don't understand my super intelligent subtext, chud" angle.

I actually skimmed RPC and I remember it being pretty good and focused.
