SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

In looking through Harmony's chatlogs, I've unfortunately now started to peek into the odd world of SCP role playing (RP-ing). It's something they take very seriously over there. It mimics how they understand their in-staff positions and their dynamics, the entire staff being a sort of RP for unrealized delusions of grandeur, fantasies of general social aptitude, and -- as we see here -- a chance to be morally superior towards the actions of fictional characters. Training wheels for the real world drama, you could say.

RPs commonly fork off into private messaging, and sometimes these get steamy. (We've seen shocking examples of this.) Two members of one RP had their characters have pretend virtual sex in their DMs, while one of the fictional characters was written to be "drunk". First lines are links to screencaps:

Roget assumes the proud role of confronting one of the participants:

As I've gone through the PMs, I've noticed that there's a lot of discussion between Roget/Harmony, Procyon, and some others about what to do about a particular user named Talonair, who makes an appearance in these logs. Talonair was apparently a drama magnet, but I have yet to piece together exactly what they did. Is there anything about it in the logs you're going through? It's probably not a big deal, whatever it is, but if we're on the subject of SCP RP I figure there's no harm in bringing it up.

No nothing really, this is the first I've come across that one. But anyone who sees authors write in two fictional RP characters who have both had something fictionally alcoholic to drink before fictionally getting steamy and calls it "literally rape" is bound to show up again and again.

I had to read this sentence over again a couple times. Not because you wrote it badly, but because the situation is so inherently ridiculous I'm having trouble discerning irony from reality.

I've probably said it before but I generally believe in the idea of writing what you want for yourself in the format of SCP- That being a free-form creative writing forum. But I do find it extremely heinous to try to push your own opinions on what an article subjectively should have been on someone else's work, especially when they didn't ask for your opinion on it in the form of non-critique.

"At this point in my life" Kinch, I have no idea if you still stalk this forum or not, but nobody cares about your life. Not in a mean way, but literally, when it comes down to brass tacks, nobody cares outside of your immediate close friends and family, and even then, you're probably not prioritized over their own experiences. That's just how life, socializing, and general relationships work. So coming onto someone else's work and criticizing it because it's not the story YOU want, or because it's a kind of story you hate, isn't actually legitimate criticism. If you want to see the kind of work you want on the site, write it yourself. That's WHY SCP and its splinters exists in the first place, so people can write cool shit they want to write*.

*Or at least, it used to be why SCP existed, now it's just Writing For The Upvotes.

SCP Animated sounds like a salty cunt on Reddit. Read his previous comments. I’m not fully agreeing on what SCP Illustrated said, but man this fuck got majorly butthurt over some Brit with a wrong opinion. Reminds me of “consequences will never be the same”.

KF is taking in all the people who want a place to freely complain about SCP + people who see it as their best bet to change something there. There's like a dozen users on here who don't post anywhere else because they have no interest in this forum outside of its relevance to the SCP trashfire.

Ironically enough it’s entirely the SCPss fault that it exists because if they could tolerate a loyal opposition there would be no oxygen in this thread whatsoever
