I've been binging on Youtube vids about the various different creatures. Great stuff, a bit remiscent of Goosebumps but with more gore and death.

I meant for the future. SCP is gone, but it could have been saved. If only these dumbasses were told to gtfo.

A few of the members in the community came out and documented how awful a lot of main site staff have been with very open and out there fetish pages, asking fans (which were primarily underage) for nudes, some were hyper obsessive with SCP and were willing to abuse others over it, a few were abusive to their own partners outside SCP. RPC, a splinter of SCP that sort of exists in it’s own ring, developed some gay ops around it and got some information, but it lead to some people being exposed and outed, and ultimately lead nowhere but here, where all the information already was. It’s died down but in response SCP made a grandfather policy where everyone underage before the policy was made is allowed to stay, but after, anyone under 18 isn’t allowed in and cannot write until they turn 18 to the day.

Tl;Dr site staff couldn’t keep it in their trousers, got called out for it, general community fumbling happened everywhere and a policy was put in place to prevent it generally in the near future. It was under a hashtag on YouTube SCPEDO, but that was primarily pushed by RPC.

It's not just that sentence that stands out. The entire article can be summarized as "big bad bigot frog turns nice". Hell, the researcher effected by 6404 is literally named "Marx", I'm not kidding. The SCP is nothing more than a excuse for the author to preach to their audience.

And they didn't even do that properly. Compare this interview log to the others you've seen, and you'll see that the researcher here reacts with more emotion and actively scolds the SCP rather than keeping a neutral stance. Why would the researcher give a shit about "hate symbols" and racism? Every day, people meet a horrible end in the Foundation and she's concerned about hate speech?
