this entire thread is just people arguing about carts so instead of trying to moderate it i am moving it directly to mass debates and featuring it to decide once and for all if cart narcing is based or unbased.

It seems to me the argument is about a guy who agitates and films people while accosting them about carts, in order to create a spectacle on YouTube and get views.
Sometimes people he targets put those carts in the planters or in other places where they are not apt to damage a person's cart or be in someone's way. Other times people indicate a willingess to oblige his request and then refuse when he continues being an insufferable cunt (eg that woman who tells him to go fuck himself and throws soda and energy drink at him).

The correct (laziest) thing to do in a parking lot is park right next to a corral. Then returning your cart is super easy, and since you usually have to park further down the lot you get some exercise.

When I walk into a store I bring two carts in with me, meaning that even if I don't return the cart at the end of my shopping trip I've still net -1 cart from the parking lot.
People that bring the carts back are only netting zero when it comes to carts still in the parking lot, since they are just returning what they themselves brought into the parking lot.

This makes me better than all of you to a ratio of at least 1:0 which is an infinite degree.
