Its been nearly a year since this thread was made and I still think about it when it's time to return my cart.

I actually do return my cart to the corral or the front of the store, but if this guy were around, and I had a clear shot across the parking lot where there were no cars, I would send it flying just to spite him.

I can imagine a future where all carts are secured with the 'Aldi Quarter' system.
That will happen in our lifetime. Canada mostly does this.

I didn't watch the video but I understand why putting the cart back is a safety concern with a small baby. You would want to secure the baby in their cart seat before loading the groceries into the trunk so you don't have to worry about them wriggling out of the shopping cart, running into the parking lot and/or grabbing and throwing the groceries. They are safely secured in the car, but you can't leave them there unsupervised while you return the cart. For one thing, it's illegal in the US but it's also dangerous and creates and entirely different safety risk.

Like I said, I didn't watch the video and I'm sure the bitch is being a cunt but cart narc has always been an annoying kvetching faggot and I hope someone [reeducates] him soon.

They are safely secured in the car, but you can't leave them there unsupervised while you return the cart.

You take them with you when you return the cart, just like you did when you grabbed the cart.

You can also always park right next to the cart return if you're shopping with small children and you really need them strapped in the car seat rather than the cart, those spots aren't that hard to find. She's just being a lazy bones ... and a Gucci footed, entitled, white whiny bitch.

Just watched cart narcs for the first time because of Idubbbz and I have to say I don't fault anyone for finding this guy annoying. Personally speaking, I always return the cart out of politeness, but something about this dude's smugness paired with that obnoxious voice he does and the fact that he feels entitled enough to start sticking shit on people's cars would make me WANT to leave my cart behind just to spite him.
I think an actual good example of this sort thing done right was when a Colombian mayor hired mimes to mock those committing traffic violations (a) and surprisingly enough it actually succeeded in reducing violations by 50%. Goes to show that this CAN work and you CAN get these people to return the shopping cart willingly, just don't be a faggot hall monitor about it.
