Alright, so basically, there is a renewed push to declassify 28 pages of the 838-page congressional report on the worst terror attack on American soil. It is widely speculated that these pages point the blame towards Saudi Arabia. The links provided go into more detail, but it's worth noting that, of the 19 men behind the attacks, 15 were citizens of Saudi Arabia. Not to mention Osama Bin Laden himself. Saudi Arabia has pushed back, threatening to sell off hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of American assets if Congress passes a bill that would allow the Saudi government to be held responsible for any role in the attacks.

They are so fucking guilty. Even if they don't hold a direct role, Saudi Arabia has been exporting Islamic extremism in the form of Wahhabism for decades.

Okay.

I had a teacher who was offered a job to teach painting to women over there and after much serious thought, she decided not to go with it. She's also Jewish so I think she was in for a shit time if she did go. Not only is it oppressive but there's no fun allowed, they don't even have movie theaters.

So she's Jewish and a woman? Wow, yeah, she definitely made the right choice. I bet they offered her a ton of money (that's how they lure talented Westerners to work for them, otherwise absolutely no one would work there), but she probably realized that it wouldn't be worth being treated as a subhuman by the culture at large.

She didn't factor in being a Jew, it mostly boiled down to being cooped up in a room not being able to go outside without a male escort. She brought up restaurants and how only men are allowed to hang out and dine; I'm not sure if women could do anything even with an escort. Sounds incredibly boring and sausagey.

They assuredly didn't know she was Jewish at the time. The second they actually find out you're a Jew, it's almost impossible to get cleared.
