Known video game leaker, I’m a Hero Too, has revealed a little more about SEGA’s plans for 2024, which aligns with what the news publication Bloomberg said in April 2022. SEGA is delving into its extensive back catalog and preparing reboots of several classic gaming franchises such as Jet Set Radio, Comix Zone, and Guardian Heroes. Bloomberg originally mentioned that Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio were being worked on, so the news about Comix Zone and Guardian Heroes is new information. I’m a Hero Too also mentioned that SEGA is launching a new Sonic the Hedgehog game next year. I’m a Hero Too’s Reddit account appears to have been deleted.
SEGA:
- Another Sonic is coming next year, along with Jet Set, Comix Zone and a new Guardian Heroes (not sure on the date for that one)
- Persona 6 is a bit further away than last time I updated. I don’t think it’s making 2024 (original plan was reveal last winter)
- Main theme of P6 is “black and white”, some parts still look Green in the gills, I’m waiting on other leakers before the floodgates open
- There is another Persona game yet to be revealed, I’ll finally say it’s a party game
Huh? With Superstars coming out this year?New Sonic game for next year
That WAS leaked earlier, in the same video that leaked Persona 3 Reload, so that lends it a bit more credence:along with Jet Set Radio

So, this apparently leaked from SoJ's internal meeting from 2021. A full-on Persona 3 remake, along with what appears to be a new/rebooted Jet Set Radio?!
Makes sense, considering a movie is supposed to come outComix Zone
BULLSHIT.new Guardian Heroes
Kind of ironic given Jet Set Radio Future was a reboot in and of itself, despite being the second game of the series.along with what appears to be a new/rebooted Jet Set Radio?!
Kinda makes sense if it's coming to PS4, considering Persona 4 was the last noteworthy PS2 game, Persona 5 was the last noteworthy PS3 game, and now Persona 6 can be the last noteworthy PS4 game if it comes to PS4, which it probably will.Persona 6? First one dates back to PS3 technically, it might be about time.
Edit: No idea why I said the "first one", I meant "last one", Persona 5.
You know, I do Sega's little surveys when they send them to me, and I always ask about Skies of Arcadia just for you.BULLSHIT.

"Loose" in hollywood terms means it will have jack-shit to do with the original. The film will reportedly be a loose adaptation of the game
Comix Zone and new Guardian Heroes
I filled out a Sega survey and asked them to redo Space Harrier 2 with a better framerate, and the madmen actually did itYou know, I do Sega's little surveys when they send them to me, and I always ask about Skies of Arcadia just for you.
Err. Isn't Treasure just a walking corpse these days?new Guardian Heroes
Good fucking riddance to Hyenas, whomever greenlighted that in the first place has no business calling the shots. It'll be fun to see what Creative Assembly does now, considering the debacle over the last Warhammer 3 DLC and Pharaoh coming soon. If the latter flops, I have no idea what they'll do to try to recoup all that sunk cost.
Hopefully they release another flop and go broke as a couple other woke developers have recently.Good fucking riddance to Hyenas, whomever greenlighted that in the first place has no business calling the shots. It isn't "get woke, go broke", it's "get broke (being bought by SEGA), go woke, (HYENAS), inevitably croak (what we're seeing in motion now)".Hopefully they release another flop and go broke as a couple other woke developers have recently.
Yeah, I dunno what the fuck they were thinking when they made that decision. Especially since the Switch is the most likely platform people will experience it on. I mean, which would you rather choose? A franchise who's track record can be most charitably described as "spotty", or a franchise where you KNOW you're going to have at the very least a decent time? Plus it'd be one thing if Superstars was priced lower, but no! Both are 60 dollars! The new 2D Sonic game comes out 3 days before Super Mario Wonder, instead of delaying it a few weeks so least press-wise it is not getting overshadowed by Mario.
