More importantly, did you buy the steam version where you got the steam controller for $15 or the Xbone version where you got the game for free with the consoleSo did you buy it?
I got it in PS4 and when I play it I’ll post. Disclaimer: souls fan, autistic weeb, loved Nioh too.
You should put literally anything else in the OP about the game.
I recommend people to play the Tenchu series of games. From Software wanted this game to be another entry into the series, but saw that too many developers had shaped the series (including themselves) and shifted gears to have it be a different project.I got it in PS4 and when I play it I’ll post. Neither yet, I'm broke, but I am interested in it as a fan of both Tenchu and Souls. And when I do, it'll probably be on Censorshipstation 4 because I'm a peasant
But I like the developer and support Japanese imports. It's already been cracked, so if you're on PC you could always stumble across a free legal copy like I did.
Armored Core with a Sekiro twist would be interesting. All sorts of gadgets leading to high octane fighting and death from above.Im downloading it right now to torture myself again and to cry because From Software still dont want to release another Armored Core
Being a mecha fag is suffering
If I loved og Tenchu but really don't care for Dark Souls (more just exhausted by the style) would this appeal to me?

From what I hear, the game gets a lot meaner after the 2 or so hour markI think Sekiro is overall a downgrade in basically everything from Dark Souls, but I'm at the start still so I dunno.
What happens if you run out of revivesI could only play bloodborne in short segments because of how mentally exhausting it was and this is no different. The stealth is cool, and really dark souls should have had it, but you spend a lot of time waiting for enemies to deagro.
There’s more than one currency and death isn’t super punishing, you don’t have to warp back to the hub to level up and buy some supplies, but boy is it still punishing. It doesn’t have that same spoon fed lore Dark Souls has though. Japanese culture games always seem to have a mystical but straight forward setting.
