Happens in various other parts of the site as well. Try saying anything non-negative about Ralph in his section and watch what happens, for instance.

To be straight with you, I'm scared of the A&H crowd, because they don't integrate and are violently autistic, they don't have any personal rules or limits.

I'm just making fun of a tranny or fat chick, they think they are saving the White Race and will become aggressive and I think would work to dox you if you piss them off enough.

Is bordering on the hysterical, and based on a false impression and reputation that the section of the site has. It's mostly, by far, mild right wingers of various flavors, lolbertarians such as myself of varying kinds, and disaffected lefties. Yes, we do have regulars who are unironic extremists and yes there's a lot of angryposting. I won't deny that, but the people who are regulars in A&H get heated about the topic of heavier moderation precisely because of the histrionics and falsity of the pretense behind them. A lot of threads are people grumbling about this or that but genuinely it's not much more politically crazy than anywhere else on the internet except you can actually vent your frustrations honestly and with whatever wording you wish to do so with. This notion that it's a hive of /pol/tards is the singularly most retarded shit I've seen people parrot on this site and that says a lot considering I'm also an IF regular.

Which is a very large part of why there's so much pushback. Anyone, and I include Null in this, who regularly uses A&N enough to get to know the folks there knows that the regulars aren't a bunch of sturmhelm wearing goose-steppers. It's mostly just bland conservatives, lolberts, with some lefties. People flip shit (and I wish they'd just ignore him but whatever) at people like HHH because they go in and act as aggressively as they can, then turn around and whine about muh hugbox. The spergs who do flip out over people disagreeing with them - like most everywhere else on the site - tend to get "negrated" and sometimes mocked.

After the last two pages, I'm not ruling out the possibility that all of this consternation is over a few people who don't actually use or know anything about A+H but can't stand the idea of someone somewhere probably disagreeing with them.

There is plenty of that anywhere an unwoke place flourishes there will always be pressure to subvert and coopt it. Hell I am a liberal and I know this. That’s why I think whoever this team is cannot be so politically emotional as to have it taint their judgment. Like you and I are complete opposites on many issues but who CARES neither of us are the ones running the show we just want the best world for our loved ones. I think 90% of A&Hers are far-right, very very few are anything else. Posting a random feel good story isn't going to give you an idea of what your demographic is. Post one about anything political and it becomes a lot more paranoid and angry.

Combine that with people who legitimately seem to believe that we're talking about the worst of the worst pol-tards who will dox dissenters for voicing their opinion and suddenly there's no way we can have an informed, useful discussion. Not only do we not agree on the problems or solutions, we don't even seem to agree on the essential character of the forum that's supposedly the source of those problems.

The point is something fucky is going on here. Some people here seem to view A&H the way Redditors view Kiwi Farms and that's concerning.

The directive of a mod team is not to make sure the conversation is equally woke and anti-woke, but to ensure the board fosters a culture of effort in both informative posting and shitposting. I am not saying every post has to be epic but it would be nice to strive to a standard where if you are gonna call out someone put like five minutes into it. Ironically, it is the opposite. None of us poltards wanted to dox or have anything to do with all the posters who were insanely assmad that we had the audacity to leave. We just wanted to discuss our shit in peace and then when we were doxed, it made them even more mad that there was no gayops in our PM. Yet we were the cancer of this site.
