Maybe more variety in the articles would be nice. I don't care much about 'muh quality post' but sometimes they get a bit samey. CatParty creates a lot of them.

From what I've read on autistic thunderdome, it ultimately boils down to users spreading their own views unrelated to the subject. Not political views, just their own belief on how the world should be run.

As a fan of politics and an observer of political discussion, I think discussions should not devolve to people's own viewpoints. While that is the point of political disussion, it derails threads and makes it ultimately about themselves instead of the topic which gives people the impression that we're a "far right hate machine" site.

I'm not a leftist or a rightist in the sense. Every president lies to people in order to get to their position of power. Biden did, Obama did and even Trump did to huge extents. I'm under the belief that Trump was a terrible president but not just because of the racism and xenophobia. He did a lot of shit wrong.

It's like whenever there's a president they hate, they make it all bad news and whenever there's a president they like, they make it all good news. I don't believe in this at all.

I also don't believe comapnies like Google and Disney should push shit down our throats just to cover for the greed that they have.

Here's my jist. More real issues, less bait articles (LGBT+, race, all that) that provoke discussion (that may go towards a seperate forum) and encouraging more intelligent people to discuss in these topics.

I don't know about you but I'm tired of having all this woke shit shoved down my throat in a way that's basic and suface-level. Sure, it may seem helpful to push this shit down our throat but I know Google and Disney are not doing anything but being hypocrites and liars.

Politics is such a shitshow nowadays and many politicians are not doing their jobs. Why should we have our political discourse resemble what many politicians want you to discuss, which is nothing?

I don't know if I can fulfill what I can promise. I'm just tired of the state of the world as it is... Not telling you to switch your positions and all that, just do something so that the rich bigshits don't have the power to control the world anymore.

The entire site relates to woke. Community watch have most threads be about something woke, most lolcows for or against have something relating to woke, multimedia is covered in threads about shows that have gone woke. It's not A&H it's current year. Prevailing worldview. You being tired of woke is like being tired of Catholicism in the 1300 hundreds medieval Europe, or communism in 1970s soviet union or nationalism in Europe 1910. But I do see how A&H can be an unpleasant experience if you post things like 'actually niggers are people' and get fifty guys writing essays on why you're a subhuman. I don't really see a way to fix that though, nor do I particularly care that it happens. I just understand that it does.

I am grateful this site exists. I hate the current internet. I haven’t been banned out of anywhere. I lurked for years before I signed up, I’ve had a policy on not being on social media since 2008 when I opened a FaceBook account and realized a) no one cares and b) except the advertisers/government, and deleted the account.

I never engaged with 4-chan, Reddit, or Twitter. Just this place, and I showed up accidentally for some cow-related content. I never felt compelled to contribute to cow threads, I’m no use for finding info and other people generally express similar opinions to mine. And I learn from people I disagree with.

But I like A&H. I don’t report my hurt feelings and I ignore a handful of people (whose stuff I usually peek at anyways, it’s just a good reminder for me to calm down lol).

Anyways, I like it here. I don’t take it personally so I just enjoy the weirdos and smart people and get unexpected info here that I think may only be possible due to the light touch I see for moderation (which may be an illusion apparently).

It’s not my house, so I understand if I get shown the door. But I would miss it. Thanks for having me here.

Also re A&N, the main difference is we're arguing about political bullshit from mainstream news articles. That's a major philosophical difference between A&N and the rest of the board. Cow threads are to laugh at the cow, not argue about their politics. A cow is always a disgrace to whatever politics they have and an embarrassment to any non-crazies on their own side.

I try not to ignore people with different opinions than me, I often time appreciate someone that slogs into Thunderdome and will state opinions contrary to the mean. I definitely know you have said things I vehemently disagree with, but also recognize your as a poster I hold on high regard. I probably wouldn't even have HHH on ignore except that I hardly ever saw him posting outside of antagonizing A&N, and so many fucking spergs take his fucking bait, or @ post him specifically to get him to post bait to sperg out at, that it cut down half of the clutter. If there was a thread-ignore option I'd use it on them too, but some of them are active in less spergy threads to ban them site wide.

I find it crazy that we kept the people that caused such a shit storm for the Mods and instead got rid of the stickers. I appreciate the use of stickers, I think they can spare a lot of threads from useless comments, but I also don't want to step up to be a tard wrangle, so if that's a condition of current mods keeping up the work, than I'm not going to be upset about them staying gone.
