To add on to the gun and self-defense spergery I suggest you let go of the caliber and armor autism, get a humble AR-15 or an AR-10, and train and drill with them as much as possible. A larger caliber won't help you if you're not adept at quickly dealing with malfunctions, or reloading, or moving around your house in the dark, or knowing where you can take cover should retards actually pull up with guns.
