Of course in a simple outlined drawing, those lines which remain invisible in color should still be outlined besides, but that's a nitpick.

True, I suppose, but it's basically a commission done for very cheap, so I'll forgive her for not putting a lot of deep thought into it.
Those tiny little hands...

I've got to admit, the mailing label is kind of cute, though. Maybe Christine's next venture can be Sonichu themed stationary.

I agree that his mailing label is pretty pro (for Chris) but it's balanced out by the grimy envelope ahahahahaha. Also sending 'art' people paid for folded, stay classy Chris.

Yeah, it's interesting, I actually got the same mailing label with Rosechu on it a while back when I ordered a cwcville badge medallion (I should probably necro the medallion thread and put that in there...). When I complemented Chris on it, saying that Rosechu was my favorite character, she got oddly defensive about it, saying she just needed labels and she printed a bunch out for each character.

As for the griminess of the envelope, I don't know if that's Chris or USPS, and honestly it could be either. Rubbing up against other envelopes for a few days in warm weather, you might get some ink or whatever on you.

That's a great example of how bad Chris is at proportions. It's weird that he drew her left arm as smaller than the right arm and her right leg as smaller than the left leg.

I wonder if he traced the peace sign, because that hand looks much better than what he did for the other one.

The peace sign might be traced, or she might've used a reference. Still, sometimes you get lucky and a hand or a foot just turns out looking really good. Happens to artists all the time.

Boy, though, it sure does look like that right arm of hers gets more of a work-out than her left.

Yeah, the reward tiers are all over the places. The $10 donation gets you something that would normally cost $30, but then all the other tiers get you merchandise worth significantly less. It seems like he's kinda getting it but not really quite there yet.
Also of note is saying he plans to self publish and sell copies of Sonichu.. that is a really good idea and its about time. He could make a bunch of money doing that. He should throw in autographing them as well, or maybe for an extra $5.

The thing he gives you for your $10 donation is a lot less elaborate than the full commissioned drawing. Not that the comissioned drawing is a masterpiece, but he tries to draw a whole scene for you. Not just one character waving.

So I don't think any of the donation rewards are at "market value", if market value is defined as the price based on buying them on their own. To be fair to him, I think he is fairly transparent about that. He calls it a "donation". You donate some amount of money to him, and to show his gratitude he gives you something worth considerably less.

But I agree that he still has a couple kinks to work out. Your scheme could be effective and he could do it with all of the already written issues. And I think something like a Patreon where he tries to raise $200 for a 20 page comic would be better than the current system. It is effectively the same as his current system, but it seems a little more transparent for "donors" which is always a good thing. And it allows people to throw in a dollar or two if they want.

Now that I think about it, I remember seeing the Rosechu label on another CWC package, but none of the other characters.
Just coincidence and the other ones have never been shown, or did she actually only made the Rosechu ones?

That's a good question. I wonder if we just haven't seen the others.

The Rosechu drawing actually looks alright, at least compared to Chris's other published art. Makes me wonder if there was any tracing involved.
