"pain pills flying through the air" She does know that there are pills specifically for menstrual pain right? They have heating pads for that too. Oh wait of coarse she doesn't know that, Taking a five minute trip down to her local CVS or you know, using Google, is to much!

It's often a garbage pail diagnosis for when someone keeps complaining but they can't find anything actually wrong. There are probably people with pain caused by something that isn't easy to figure out but I'd just have to assume a lot of them just like bitching and complaining and their real problem is they're just fat and lazy.
 
Okay, I have to go off on a biology tangent because conspiracy theories denouncing period pains really boils my parsnips.

Holy fucking shit, periods hurt because the uterus is contracting to slough off the useless lining it builds up over a month because the egg that was released wasn't fertilized. It's basic biology. Your body is basically preparing you for when you have to bear a child, and the cramps are peanuts compared to birthing pains.

And God forbid you're diagnosed with endometriosis or PCOS. Because, surprise! The pain only gets worse!

The pill is not only used to prevent unwanted pregnancies--it's also used to treat abnormally painful period cramps, or dysmenorrhea. It's also used to treat PCOS.

To treat endometriosis? They have to go in there and either a) remove the uterus entirely, making you infertile, or b) remove the problem areas. You then have to have a fight with your insurance company because they won't fucking pay for the medications required to make sure the endometriosis doesn't return.

Basically, fuck the whole patriarchy argument--your periods hurt because they just do. It's called Tylenol. Take some.

This is technically how vaccinations work. But I think her point is more along the line of don't vaccinate kids cuz it'll give them the autisms!! Which is how kids with immune defects end up dead from measles. Since their special snowflake was too good for a shot.
