You're kind of missing the point Shane. If less cons are booking Vic then that only establishes a stronger case for higher damages.

I mean you can argue that Ron, Monica and Jamie all believe it's worth whatever it costs them in legal fees and damages to have Vic largely out of the industry and off the convention circuit, I suppose.

It's lose-lose for them. The less Vic makes from voice gigs and con invites, the more money they'll have to pay in damage. Financial loss.

But if Vic still keeps getting invites and voice jobs, they realize no one buys their bullshit and they lose the narrative that no one likes Vic anymore. Moral loss.

Shanes a man desperate for attention from the danger hairs. I actually got a theory about creeps like him and a lot of the other men in the offendatron movement: The reason they're so pious about their beliefs in feminism and progressive shit is because its their only salvation.

These arent just beta cucks, these are men who have a lot of guilt and remorse of past inappropriate behaviors with women and either never got caught by law enforcement, saw something and did nothing, helped do something but didn't participate in the violation, or managed to get away with the perfect crime and even their victims weren't aware of what happened to them. Remember when Shane mentioned how like 20 years ago "we got away with all kinds of bad behavior" in that stream with Nick?

Their own conscience has been eating at them and they think as long as they parrot and echo the feminist talking points it gives them redemption for their past sins. They know deep down that they're scum, but wont come out and admit it when they can get some attention for being "morale men" because then its an ego boost to build off of.

This doesn't include men indoctrinated into this shit as children, but being that this whole movement is so cult like and cults attract damaged people looking for help of somekind I really think this is a sad, and sick reality.

I'd say that second one has already come to pass, or in progress. People are lining up for Vic, taking pictures with him, buying tickets to attend conventions he's still invited to. Most anime fans either don't know who Monica Rial is or don't care. If you clarified that she's the dubbed voice of Bulma, you'd likely get, "What? They replaced Bulma's voice again?"

Then add in that she's a reprehensible cunt who will make up sexual assault allegations to ruin someone else's life, and you have a recipe for fan apathy.

We know that at least the "saw something and did nothing" part is true - and not just among the men - because all of them claim that this has been going on for years and had no answer when they were asked very early on why they were complicit in covering it up.

It also plays into the predatory side that dudes like Shane exhibit. He can't meet normal women, so he resorts to preying on those ignorant to his game or are too young and inexperienced to realize what's happening. I wonder if he even realized it, or he did it unconsciously, because that's the only way he could get any.
