It should be apparent by now that you and I have walked a good deal of the same flooring. I know you're not reputed as the most intellectually honest (or for that matter honest) person around but I've been around you enough to know you're capable of thinking when your not saturated with alcohol.
  1. The case was not lost. The TCPA is a very preliminary stage in the suit. C'mon buddy, I know it's painful but use the mind you have left and sit on your bias long enough to assimilate what you've observed. It did not go well, I'll give you that but by all indicators that was as much the judge hop scotching around and not following what we all expected. With that, I'd say that there's enough information about Chupp's behavior and record that Ty probably should've prepared for a shit show of a hearing. He didn't but us arm chair quarter backing means as much as you posting here.
  2. What in the world does Nick have to do with anything. Whether he sucks or not had as much bearing on the case as the shoe on your cutting board.
  3. Ron, Monica and Funi were not dismissed totally and may not escape via TCPA. Fees aren't even on the table until the TCPA dismissal is granted and all appeals have been exhausted/abandoned.
  4. Oh yeah, it's also very possible for Jamie to be sucked back in if this thing goes to appeal though I don't think it'd make much sense in a cost/benefit analysis.

Gotten "worse"? A young lady telling me a similar story but neither wanted to follow up, so there's that.

Insinuating himself into a personnel issue with a criminal complaint that, had it been legitimate, would have derailed any investigation and exposed the convention (A-Kon) to liabilities like obstruction, etc.

The rest is literally hearsay. Maybe he can share some of those juicy anecdotes.

So you're saying he DIDN"T believe the victims, and in fact derailed their chance of having justice by interfering with a possible
investigation by the police BEFORE it even happened?
Was it because Mr. Homberg or one his cronies who was to be investigated? Or was it his idiotic way of doing his 'job' by preventing A-Kon from getting heat?

Regardless, good luck with your consent con Shane, I think you'll be the man for it.
Who better to know the lines of consent, then someone who knowingly violated it multiple times in the past, right?
