The only reason this shoe-eating dimwit need never fear actually being sued is that he's so stupid and obviously irrelevant and knows absolutely fucking nothing that there would be no point to it.

I don't think Funimation was named for civil conspiracy, but if Shane's correct (ow, my brain) and depending on what those messages said Funi might go on the hook for that too.

Exactly. The best Shane could hope to be at this point is a cautionary tale of how not to insert your own foot in your mouth. No one should heed anything he says about anything. He is an expert at not being an expert.

The complaint attributes all causes of action to all "Defendants" which includes Funimation, and also separately alleges vicarious liability by Funimation against all other defendants.

The fact that Shane is starting to hint Rekieta is Alt Right makes me think he realizes he will never get one in on Rekieta so has to resort to typical SJW panic button smash.

Or that Nick devoted more thought to responding to Shane than the 15 seconds it took him to type out "This is your thing? Good Christ." It's almost as if Shane or responding to Shane does not figure in Nick's thought in any significant way whatsoever.

What really strikes me about this exchange is how juvenile Shane's mentality is. This is nothing new, but I am always floored by how much this guy resembles a fourteen year old girl. That's who spends all day composing the perfect tweet, them and Shane. Grown ass men just type up simple responses without thinking much about it.

Shane's jackassory is possibly the best thing to come out of all this. He's a super saiyan lolcow, and his desperation to be important just makes this better. It's like the bitch icing on the bitch cake.

The argument Shane was trying to make on twitter yesterday if you read all his tweets is that:
- the lawsuit is a sideshow.
- the real battle is the popularity contest.
- the lawsuit is making people hate Vic -> Vic is losing the thing that matters.
- even if Vic wins the lawsuit who cares - as Monica will be more popular so fans will pay her and she'll be fine.
- also Vic will stop getting invited to most cons now as they all hate him for his lawsuit and for bullying kamehacon.

Cons are asking Vic to return. One con even gave out information about being blackmailed by Monica. The conventions hate someone indeed but it’s not necessarily pointed at Vic
 
On a side note I've been experimenting with automating the reading of twitter this is fairly junk but a first try... Here are the last 3213 of Shane's tweets as of yesterday as a searchable PDF - the formatting's not great but hey it's a first try.

(This was done by writing a script to automate a browser to load Shane's tweets and replies page then scroll as a far as it could then reading through the loaded data to save each tweet out to a file)
