Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn

This video is from last year, but screw it. Jump to 15:37. To cut a long story short, the gamers never donated to the project, it was companies like Quark backing up the project via anonymous donations. The video below explains it better than I could.

Big Deez? Deez Nuts?

That's crazy that they're remaking it. It would be more fun as a Beat'em Up vs. a fighting game though.

First Bubsy, now Shaq-Fu. Do these fuckers not realize that they're only liked ironically?
I dunno, the trailer seemed to indicate that it WASN'T supposed to be taken seriously.
I would prefer a remake of Action 52 and/or ET. :ween: That would be awesome.
Some years ago (about five years ago), there was "Action 52 OWNS", an attempted remake with 52 games being handed off to different developers. Little came out of it, but there was at least Streemerz, a Bionic Commando type game.

I own an original Shaq Fu cartridge for the Sega Genesis. I had my friend play it as a joke and I got annoyed when he said the game wasn't that bad :(

I think my cousin owned it at one point. The ending was dumb.

Man, shaq-fu was a bad game. Like, as a fighting game it was too simplistic. Then, more importantly, the controls were terrible. There was a very noticable input lag, a terrible thing in fighting games.

Still, I played it, and I beat it, because what am I gonna do? Not play it?

I was in a Gamestop the other day. They're selling physical copies on the Nintendo Switch for $40. The digital versions (All systems and PC) is $20.
