Game I've been playing a lot lately that I'd like to share is Shellcore command. Shellcore command is a Adventure-RPG with RTS elements where you scavenge and buy modular parts for your ShellCore to attach which will change the speed, weight, energy and number of weapons and abilities and armor and core strength. Core mechanic of the game is once you armor depletes your modules start taking damage and flake off once destroyed until you start hitting the core and blow the ship up.
The RTS elements come in the several battlezones within the game where your main objective is to destroy the enemy's air carrier to win the game. During the battle you harvest energy orbs to purchase defensive and offensive towers that you can tow around with your tractor beam.
The game was originally a free flash game made by a guy called Flashbacker (work still available through the flash game archival project Flashpoint Archive) Episode 1 was made and a partial version of episode 2. Apparently from attempts made to contact him regarding the status of the games and obtain permission to use the copyright it is rumored the guys in a coma or something.
There is a fan remake currently being worked on in unity that features a fully fledged episode 1, 2 and 3 available in unity for free available for download here.
Personally, one of my favourite flash games of all time and it really scratches an itch I have
