Meet Sherriff Grady Judd. He's a police officer in Polk County, Florida, and has been a sheriff there since 2004-2005 (although he's been a police officer since 1972)

This dude is at least partially responsible for Polk County having one of the highest crime solved rates in the country. On top of that, he's helped arrest over 100 sex traffickers.

God, I LOVES me some Grady Judd! This man is the closest we'll get to an Andy Griffith BASED Mayberry sheriff! The man has that lovely, homey, Mt. Airy style lilt to his voice as he regales us with tales of busted pedophiles, sex traffickers, murderers and freaks.

My favorite Grady Judd moments:

Declare National Pedo Bust Day, one day each year, selected at random. Save all the evidence, keep it all secret, wrap up all investigations, and then on P-Day, ALL the warrants go live at 00:01, published on a national database. Obviously if someone's actively abusing a kid bust them early.

This is probably totally impractical and dumb, but... Just seems like a cool idea to me.
