Before Twitch got pozzed, I was browsing the front page and shift was featured on the front page (this was probably early 2017). I followed his streams for a couple of months, before abandoning Twitch altogether and forgetting about him. For any shiftorians, I was watching him during the diaper meme era.

The shift alog videos showed up in my recommended feed earlier this year and I honestly didn't recognize him at first. Gone was the beanie and the joy of the game and in its place is a long-hair husk of a human being.

BFBB was a childhood favorite of mine, and I admit I watched this guy semi-regularly about 5 years ago when he was hitting WR after WR. I can't say I'm surprised by this result, the guy had a bit of a temper even back then. By the time I stopped watching him, I knew he'd either move along and stop streaming or turn into this. Get a haircut kids.

Granted, this guy did have some DSP-level detractors who would try to make his life hell for no real reason, and I wonder how much they played into this result. "Umm degenerate freaks are awesome so don't you dare say faggot."

It's kind of interesting in a party trick sort of way. Like when you watch someone catch a toothpick in their mouth. It's sort of cool, but seeing the level of tism and effort that goes into finding these tricks makes you think it's like crushing ten oranges to extract a few drops of juice.

But aside from just being a novelty it reminds me of that trope of running away and joining the circus. Where naive kids dream of making a living off of doing mostly useless acts for money. Twitch has basically become a modern day version of that.

Since we've got a thread on SHiFT, would be appropriate to make a whole thread of his faggot A-logs much like the DSP niggers got one. Since once this thread goes public it's only a matter of time the forum gets plagued by those nigger faggots. Call it pre-emptive containment.

Great thread OP. Kind of refreshing, honestly. Was getting kind of boring to just see the tranny of the week who wants to fuck kids. Will follow this one a bit closely.

Most of them don't do much besides clip and edit videos, they aren't at the level of the wings people or musicbizmarty. They are not really active in the discord talking about what to spam in his chat when he's streaming. If i had to give them the benefit of the doubt, i would say calling him homophobic is just another attack vector to generate rage clips. but i don't think that's the case, lowtiershift is gay i think, i seen him admit it in a discord message, but i cant find it. Shift calling someone begging for attention in his chat a faggot is pretty normal. Its abnormal to censor you're self and take it.

It didn't occur to me how spastic and cringe the alogs might be, i think its worth a deep dive, perhaps it can be added to the op, some guy named tubbycustard committed $5,000 worth of charge back fraud to fuck with him. let me know of anything specific that comes to mind

Which is why I specifically worded myself in the past-tense. I don't know if the SHiFT a-logs are still active, but I remember them getting him banned from GDQ like 4 years ago and thinking it was all rather unfair.

I'm %100 with shift on that one. Its fucking dumb that he got banned but it was only for a bit and its lifted now. The only real alogs he has now are the ones i listed and a discord server that's mostly inactive. hes really lucky he doesn't have the wings people trying to brute force their way into his ISP, raiding his chat with thousands of alts

Are Shift and his a-log peanut gallery large enough for that though? At least on the surface it seems like you could just merge the threads together into one SHiFTverse thread where you just laugh at the autism vortex in general, having separate threads for the sides would just mean two needlessly slow ones.

Glad to see a thread on this guy, finally. I've been following him on and off for years probably, and the rage is the most interesting thing going on for him. That and the cognitive dissonance between him and the rest of the people that orbit him. I have never seen someone so tilted at a game, and telling viewers to shove their concern up their ass for having sympathy for a man that is borderline torturing himself with speedrunning a game for 14 hours a day. A-Logs may be faggy, but they do good work for what it's worth.
