Should mentally disabled people get treated differently by the justice system even if they do bad things - Particularly regarding smart schoolboy 9 and other horror cows

I am really sick of seeing this freak and his disgusting fucking face on every single horror channel's thumbnails lately. EVERYONE is talking about him and that god damn face keeps popping up when I scroll youtube. all it does is piss me off there will never be any justice because he lives in the UK where they protect child predators and imprison normal citizens for having the nerve to become upset about them. The only thing covering this piece of shit on your dumb horror channel will ever do is piss people off. Let him rot and eventually die and be forgotten.

I'd put it more like this - halfway houses with monitoring instead of independent living. If they keep their shit straight they get more and more freedom over time. Fuck up, more and more restrictive.

Not according to a retributive theory of justice, which is and should be the main purpose of legal penalties. "Restorative justice", diminished capacity (maybe excepting doli incapax for suitably young children) and other awful libshit ideas just lead to 2 year suspended sentence for a heckin wholesome brown refugee brutally raping a child and 5 years for drawing attention to said sentence on Facebook.

This wouldn't be a question if society was subordinated before and armed with a mandate to humanely euthanize on such a basis from the first moment that severe disability was able to be identified.

Personally, I abhor "thought crimes" and the multi-tiered justice system like we see in the UK where Muslim rape gangs get celebrated while a grandma gets jailed for hurting a trannies fee-fees. And the increasing prevalence of that in the "land of the free" is horrifying. There was even a guy jailed for memes last year. (Of course it was because it was against Hillary).

HOWEVER... there's the unfortunate truth that some people are literally insane, with extremely violent tendencies, and no amount of rehab, tard-wrangling, or medication could ever make them a functional member of society. What do we do with these people? The mental health system in the US is vastly underfunded and inadequate, and even people with manageable illnesses like addiction or schizophrenia often can't get the help they need. What the US needs (among many other things) is a complete overhaul of the healthcare system. Quit sending billions of dollars to faggots and jews overseas, to fight wars that we don't need to be involved in. Invest in prioritizing home-grown mental health facilities and how to treat these illnesses, and spot problems before they're allowed to happen. Money spent on finding the root cause of these issues and identifying them before they blow up is the answer, IMO.

As far as the "incompetent to stand trial" nonsense, I'd say at least 6 out of 10 times, it's someone playing the system to avoid the consequences. If you're somehow aware enough to grab a gun or knife and harm someone, you're aware enough of your actions to face consequences for them. The crazy hobo who violently attacked someone walking by because the bird on the powerline told him to? Yeah, that guy probably isn't sane, but should still be removed from society. Not everyone is redeemable, and there's already too many people on the planet, get rid of them.

The evil and damage created by the outcome of the offense should be given primacy in punitive considerations. The unique circumstances of the crime should matter less and personal motive should not matter at all, because in such an equation, the wrongs experienced by victims will be redressed at least as equally and absolutely more thoroughly. The moral reprobation of society towards such heinous acts will be undoubtedly more intense; and it is a more progressive and consistent approach towards societal justice, peace and stewardship in the end.

Schizophrenic man cannibalized an innocent passenger on a bus literally in front of everybody and actually still got a chance to walk away free without "legal obligations or restrictions pertaining his independent living". (granted this was years after being locked up in a mental hospital but doctors recommended more freedom to him as early as 3 years after he beheaded a man)
