I think that what people have to take into consideration is that just because you want to have a job, doesn't mean that you get to have one. Quite a few places are job deserts; you can't just go to the job tree and pick a job off of it.

If they can somehow keep themselves afloat (or have someone who's willing to pay for their living), why not?
