I used to work in restaurants. If I ratted out even half the illegals I knew the kitchen would be a ghost town and they'd have my ass back there 100 hours a week to make shitty burgers.

That said, I'm getting tired of trucks of peace. I also, as a leave-everyone-alone liberal, am pro gay marriage and pro-choice and what have you... frankly, I don't want a bunch of fundamentalists of any abrahamic faith coming here in droves legal or not because America doesn't need more fundy religious shit lording over people's private lives, and unlike white Christians we all know brown Muslims' bigotry will be given a pass by the hypocritical leftists I used to identify with.

It's worth saying that I make a personal distinction between Mexicans and Muslims. In my experience with Mexicans (a lot of them in my area) they're family-oriented and friendly and if you ask them nicely to turn down the noise at their party they'll not only be considerate but they'll invite you over next time. Yeah they're largely Catholic and not warm towards the gays either, but I'll take them over the obvious hostility and contempt I see from 4 out of 5 Somalis (which we also have a ton of here).

Incidentally we also have a ton of hmong here, they're insular but generally not unfriendly to round-eyes like me. I don't know any figures for how many of them are here legally or illegally off the top of my head.

Aside from the criminal aspect, maybe Mexicans aren't so bad. The ones the UN and Obama wheeled in themselves from wonderful places like Somalia and other nigga/muslim shitholes as legals are who you have to worry about. They have un-deportable statuses and a chip on their shoulder.

Report and deport every illegal alien. The one thing they all share in common is a willingness to violate the law, or in the case of illegal alien children, demand special accommodations rather than hold their shithead lawbreaking parents responsible.

They are only useful because they are illegal, because they are under the radar of the law, without their presence American labor force participation wouldn't be down in the low 60s. If they were granted amnesty another batch of illegals would swarm in to service the interests of conniving business owners and land owners who utilize them to make more money at the expense of law-abiding competition. Meanwhile the amnestied "American citizens" would no longer be useful to their previous employers and slurp up a whole bunch of welfare money through SSI, SNAP, Section 8 housing, and all the other leech-promoting fuckups that leftist trash have implemented.

There is a moral obligation to ones children to defend their interests when they are challenged by foreigners. When illegal aliens trespass and help unscrupulous businessmen drive their law-abiding competitors out of business, leaving law-abiding citizens unemployed as a result, there is a moral obligation to drive them out. When illegal aliens consume public resources operated on funds collected forcibly in taxes, so that those who lived honestly and paid in for the common good are deprived of those resources, there is a moral obligation to drive out the illegal aliens.

These and many other moral obligations trump the obligation to be good neighbors. If citizens of the United States wish to aid Mexicans, and to improve their quality of life, let them offer their aid in Mexico and from their own pockets. It is not moral to fuck over citizens to aid illegals.

Initial penalties are a few hundred per illegal, if there's a pattern of hiring illegals it can be several thousand per.

Immigration's a pretty big topic these days, and I was curious what the people here would say.

Let's say you know of a household that's full of illegals. They've never done anything to you personally and all of your other neighbors haven't had any complaints either. However, they are still breaking the law when it comes to immigration.

Should you report them, or should you live and let live?

Yes you should report them, because they broke the law by trespassing. They're also a drain on the economy & will extort their employers for bigger paychecks by threatening to report themselves to the government, which will result in massive fines to the employer. It also prevents them from hiring actual citizens because they'll threaten the same if they don't hire all their fellow illegals.

Then there's also the issue that by letting in illegal immigrants at all, you don't have much of a way to filter out drug mules and other cartel agents from the average rando.

As a non-american citizen who visits the US every so often, I say: deport their asses and chew bubblegum. You know why? Because they are breaking the law.

Currently, the L1/2 VISA process and green card process are somewhat restrictive but not unobtainable. My wife and I have L1 and L2 visas respectively and we worked our asses off for them. They are not THAT hard to obtain. If you are a productive member of society and REALLY want to live and work in the USA, you can start by getting a job at some US based company and work your way up.

But then you have the bulk of uneducated masses and criminals who can't stand making their country a better place so they flee to greener pastures to shit all over them. I have nothing against hard working people but I have everything against those who break the law, want it the easy way or plain abandon their homelands because they can't stand the heat.

The American immigration system is very restrictive (you need to have a bulletproof business plan for about 250k to even apply for a green card now) but that's the way it is. Either wait for things to become more "progressive" or flee to fucking Canada.

Illegals don't pay taxes, I knew a bunch of them. They get paid under the table with no benefits and no job stability whatsoever. You might say they do consume a shit ton of products (because they might not have window glasses but the high end entertainment systems are a must) but I don't think that justifies their stay.
